I'm Marty, retired state worker from California. I recently began compiling bits and pieces of my family history and have gotten impossibly hooked on genealogical research. I'm a newbie at this and welcome any help. I so enjoy Find-a-Grave - it has helped fill in missing pieces everywhere. Most of my family is from the mid-west and east Coast, so don't get to the cemeteries as often as I would like. I have learned you need a "cemetery kit" when you do go. What is in yours?
