Bio and Links
First off---I am the Barbara Robison Lee who has entered all the names and most of the data found on the Fouts-Robison site, Clark Co., IN.
My e-mail address is norman_lee_735@comcast.net.

I am a Robison descendent. My g-g-grandparents are Robert and Mary Beach Robison. They are buried in the Fouts-Robison Cemetery. My g-g-g-granparents, Henry and Mary Robison are also buried there. I have many relatives there also---Bowers, Brisbens, Montgomerys, etc. A couple of the Brisbens are buried at Fouts Cemetery, also----John Jack Brisben and Josie Ryan Summers.

My husband and I and a friend from Southern Indiana have been trying to restore this abandoned cemetery for several years. We live about 180 miles from the cemetery. We hired a professional restoration expert to do some of the work. Then we set about doing some of the work ourselves. At the end of the 2007 season, vandals got into the cemetery and undid a lot of the restoration. That has been EXTREMELY discouraging. Since 2013 my husband and I have not been able to help with the cemetery due to health problems and old age. Hopefully, some other descendants of those buried there will step up and help with the care of this beautiful old cemetery.

RE: Araminta Bayer Reed
The other memorial has been deleted. She had not realized there was already a memorial for Araminta.

Barbara,

My mistake if I said yours was the later memorial.

Yours is May, theirs is September of 2012. Yours is far more complete.

The difference is that you listed her surname as "Bayer Reed" rather than Reed. Usually Find A Grave just lists the final surname and clarifies previous surnames through the bio or links. That is probably why the other contributor did not realize there was already a memorial for Araminta Christie.

Thank you for your work on Find A Grave.

RE: John Bocock Picture
You are welcome and not only John Bocock's stone but many of the older stones are in bad shape. I am with a group called Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War working on cleaning, replacing or providing the Veterans in the cemetery with stones. We also might suggest that maybe the old stone left in piles could be re-assembled and laid out in a gravel beds.

RE: William Lee
You are welcome. There are plenty of Lees at Arpelar Cemetery, but not your William after a thorough search. Only a very few headstones are illegible but about a hundred graves are marked by a small block of concrete with no information indicated.

RE: Flora Crick
Yes, as a matter of fact I live in Clinton County and Hyde Park is only 3 miles from my house. So I have the benefit of Clinton and Carroll county fun in cemetaries. I was just wondering about this little one because I have looked over both cemetaries she was listed in and couldn't find her in either one. I am soon, when I get a day off, going to the Frankfort library to see what Cemetary they may have her in. Thank you for your time and reply.

this young lady is also listed as being buried in the Geetingsville cemetary in Indiana, Clinton county. Can you verify for sure which cemetary she is in? I have looked over both cemetaries and can not find a headstone in either one of them.
