Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing family history for about 27 years. I found FAG about 2005 and it has grown to be one of my favorite sites. Periodically my husband and I take trips just to fulfill requests. We are involved in the ongoing project of documenting Glenwood Cemetery, Hollywood Cemetery and Forest Park Westheimer in Houston, TX. We are also doing work in Oak Grove Cemetery in Yoakum, Lavaca, TX.(Completed Dec 2015) Please note that the section numbers that we are using in this cemetery are per the survey done in 1983 by Sammy Tise. They are not the original section numbers assigned by the cemetery.

With a heavy heart--Dave Burns departed this life 5 Aug 2016.

First of all my belated condolences on your husband. As another volunteer I appreciate the hard work and the time that can go into making these memorials available, and the love and care that goes into the work. I am sure the time you had with your husband working on the site was time enjoyed together.

I tried to include a short bio on Mr. Naess but the captiva thing wasn't working and wouldn't take the bio so I've included it here.

Mr. Naess came to the United States at the age of 17. He worked in the architectural firm of Graham, Anderson, Probst and White in Chicago and in 1947 formed the partnership of Shaw, Naess and Murphy with two of his co-workers. He retired from the firm in 1958 and moved to Houston.

His firm was responsible for the design of Bogan High School, the Chicago Sun Times building, O'Hare International Airport, the Prudential Building, and participated in the plans for the Federal Building and the Chicago Civic Center (all buildings in Chicago).

Re: Mark Franceschini
There are more than one Forest Park Cemetery. I will be glad to add the cemetery if you will be so kind to tell me which state or city it is in. Thank you.

thank you so much for posting the picture of Andrew and taking the time to provide his plot info. So very kind and worthwhile as he is so very far away from his family descendants in New England.
best regards and appreciation!
