PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, when contacting me about a specific memorial, include the memorial I. D. #. (It makes life so much easier :-)

I have a huge love for genealogy and have enjoyed traipsing around this wonderful country and some parts of Europe trying to scrounge up details about my ancestors.

I only regret I didn't find Find A Grave sooner. A lot of my relatives already had memorials and I am so thankful for the Find A Grave contributors who are willing to make transfers to family members.

At this time I've really only focused on memorials for my ancestors and related siblings and spouses. As time permits in the future, I will continue to look for the relatives that aren't in Find A Grave already and add them.

In the meantime I am trying to tell the story about the lives of the people's memorials I do manage. It might be simply a transcription of their obituary, but if I can add something personal, that is my goal.

I have to thank my dad's aunt Aletha (Parks) Rosenstiel for infecting me with the bug and doing so much research on our Rosenstiel and Pickard lines. And I have to thank my mom's mother Vessie (Mattingly) Huston for keeping literally everything, especially all of the wonderful pictures.

If I hold a memorial you are interested in please let me know. I would prefer to only transfer memorials to people who are "more related" than I am but will consider any requests. I leave flowers on each of the memorials I manage and any I send in edit requests for that provides my relationship to each person.

I know the FAG guideline is four generations but if someone totally unrelated is holding the memorial and their bio sounds agreeable to transferring outside the guidelines, I still request transfers if I feel I can personalize their memorial, and I'm generally quite pleased at how agreeable people are to turn them over to family members.
