Bio and Links
Bio Photo Part of the Illinois/Nebraska clan that started in York County Pennsylvania (1740's) as Cremer/Cramer, later Somerset County, moved on to Ohio then Illinois, Iowa, and Nebraska and finally to all points on the compass. I am one of the many great grandsons of Jeremiah M. Cremer. I'm retired. How else would anyone have time for all of this?

If you find I've made an error, as I'm sure that I have, please let me know so that a correction can be made. I will gladly transfer any Memorial that isn't family or possibly a really close friend. If the latter, just plead your case and if you're 'family' to them (or a really close friend), you'll most likely win.

If you wish to use my photographs for non commercial purposes, please do. A simple citation regarding the source would be appreciated. I straighten, crop and play with the contrast & color of my photographs when needed to make them presentable. Photos taken of standing markers at 45-60 degree 'overhead' vantages make me groan a little, since the inscriptions are often difficult to read, please bend the knees a little?

Hi, Michael,
I was in the cemetery where Matthew is buried and was checking for memorials and/or pictures that needed to be done. I saw that you had the misfortune of trying to take photos on a really sunny day, next to a big row of hedge. lol. Been there, done that.
I was able to get a photo of Michael's headstone without the shadow, so I posted it.

If it is important for you to have your own photos there, I understand. Just let me know and I will delete mine.

Have a great evening! Barbara

RE: Angel Butke?
Butke is the most consistent and likely the correct maiden name.

Rev. Wells
I have a Rev. Erastus Wells in my family tree. Would this Erastus Wells be the father of Henry Wells?

Hi, Michael.
Mary Etta Whitaker #134336359 was my 2nd great grandmother. I've sent Carole McCraig a request for management of two of her memorials who are related to Mary Etta.
Mineola Holder- Larson #32508631 was a daughter of Mary Etta.
Jemima Jane Billings #28778461 was Mary Etta's mother.
As I told Carole, I would love to have management of these memorials.

RE: Roddy MacLeod

I have been told that Rod Macleod is buried in Barvas Cemetery. Would you like me to put his memorial on that cemetery's page?

RE: Roddy MacLeod
Hi Michael,

I have enlisted the help of the local historical societies to check the connections with Barvas and Ness. This may take some time, as they are all volunteers with full-time jobs. Either I, or one of those good folk, will get back to you in the next few days or weeks.

Kind regards,
