Interested in Family History/Genealogy. Enjoy the project of putting on data & photos. Will share photos but would appreciate a notice.
I will admit to making errors in the beginning with the Find-a-grave guidelines, but hope I have corrected them.

minor annoyances
Incomplete data ie putting names on with minimal data when data is available.

Duplicates - & seeming unwillingness to remove them. This is not a numbers game.

Dupes- predating ( back-dating whatever it is called ) & then claiming mine is a dupe.

This is not a site for doing "Family Trees " If a person is not buried in the Cemetery then they should not be put on to complete a Family tree" There should be no requests on the memorial for Family history.

Any pictures put on the sites with my public
name on them were taken by me. The exceptions are the ones from other sites with their permission, including Billion Graves & CanGenWeb & about a 100 for the Durham Cemetery. The memory stick was given to me by Kim.
Many of my pictures were taken by J Aitken.

RE: girdler/gridler
No problem!! I will still have to remove the memorials I made as they were added after the misspelled ones. SIGH!!

So the results will be the same.

Have a great week!!

RE: Donald Peppler

I took the photo in response to a request made by "Jewel" July 30, 2015. I had taken a few names that I couldn't find into MariAnne at the Hanover Civic Office and she was kind enough to look them up. I had put a note on the sheet that he was buried with Edgar Peppler. If this doesn't fit with your information let me know and I'll remove it.
I don't know who "Jewel" is but that person might have more information about Donald.

RE: Saint Peters Lutheran Cemetery (Grey County, Ontario)
The persons in question are a couple named Yost and Mary Maes (both memorials where created by yourself). I've placed requests for both of them.

Would you happen to have any more photographs from this cemetery?

RE: Interested in DuPont family
Thank you so much for sparing the time to check your tree, and to confirm that there is no connection between your family member and the Danny that my family knew.
I really appreciate your help.

Interested in DuPont family
Hello there,
I was very interested to see your photo of the grave of Daniel Dupont (Find A Grave Memorial# 119264386).

Do you know whether he served in the armed forces during the Second World War, and was he by any chance based in Brighton, England?

My two Aunts (aged about 20 in early 1940s) lived with their parents near Brighton during WW2 and made friends with a group of Canadian servicemen. One was called Danny Dupont. The boys spent a lot of time with the family, as my grandmother enjoyed inviting them over for meals. Sadly they lost touch after the War ended.

Many thanks

Hi, I was just wondering what source you used to determine Mary was buried in this cemetery?

Barbara's name is on the right side of that gravestone. I don't have a photo of it at this time, but will try to get one.
