I was born and raised in Terre Haute, Indiana, and joined the Air Force at an early age. After two careers (USAF and U.S. Capitol Police), two marriages (death and divorce) and wonderful children AND grandchildren, I completely retired and relocated to North Carolina. I enjoy searching the past..., for myself and others.
I have also enjoyed being a contributor to this excellent website. Although Father Time is "catching up,” I still occasionally visit cemeteries for my own purposes or upon request to photograph and add to graves from that visit. I feel that each memorial I create has a story to tell and will hopefully be found by a loved one. If my entries prove incorrect or incomplete, or you would prefer to replace with your own data, please let me know. I am always willing to make a change for the improvement of a memorial. I will also consider reasonable requests for transfer. Please use the EDIT tab on the applicable memorial(s).
PLEASE DO NOT PLACE A DEATH RECORD ON THE MEMORIALS THAT I MANAGE. If you feel that something pertinent is on the record that I have overlooked in the bio, send me an EDIT request.
PLEASE DO NOT PLACE MULTIPLE PHOTOS OF THE SAME MARKER, AREA, ETC., ON A MEMORIAL. Remember that only five slots are allocated for photographs and excessive photographs of one item may, regretfully, exclude the addition of personal photographs at a later date.
It would be nice to receive notice, via EDIT, when any photo is placed on a memorial that I maintain. Thanks in advance.
I do not display a list of Find A Grave Friends..., there are far too many. Rest assured, if you have helped me or I have helped you, then you ARE My Friend.
ADDENDUM: Photographs I have taken at burial locations may be used by others for any legitimate purpose (excluding reposting on other Find A Grave memorials). Hopefully, I would be given credit for the work. Please be aware that personal photographs of family, etc., may fall within the purview of copyright as stated in the Find A Grave guidelines.
Please feel free to view the memorials and the personal photographs I have posted, especially those of my deceased wife COLLEEN, my DAD, MOTHER and our extended family, including the Mother and Father of my second wife and her extended family.

I do not wish to post any pictures of Robert but like you I have great memories of him and his family. I was stationed with him two places ~ Charleston AFB,SC and Andrews. Great friend! Best wishes...

Good, I'm glad that cleared that up. And you are very welcome. And Helt's Prairie was known as Salem Cemetery, and another name, but I can't remember that one right off hand. I don't remember how I found that out, but it may have been one of the Vermillion County books in the Vigo County library. I hope all is well!

Hi, saw your message to my friend Howard, who has helped my mother and I with many Hitesville photos. He sent a new photo and an edit. I am still not sure of the transcription of the stone, but we have done more research and added to Anna's biography. I think W.H. (William Harrison) is the son of Elias. Also saw other Oxford memorials you've added, including a Polk! I'm a Polk also. Please let us know if there's anything to add to Anna's memorial.

I received your suggested edits (middle name, dates and places of birth and death, links to parents) for the memorial above. Would you please provide the source(s) of your information?
Thank you for keeping Find A Grave an accurate and valuable genealogical tool!
PS: If you are related to Daniel, please let me know how. I would be happy to transfer his memorial to a family member.

Thank you for the added photos for Donald Krenrick and the support of your sponsorship to his memorial page.
|Mark McCrady||RE: re: Martha Kent|
Thanks for the reply. I am not personally related, but my son is married to the daughter of Charles L. Kent, and I am researching the family tree for them. Thank you for the information you have provided and the memorials you have created!
Have a great day!
|Mark McCrady||Madison Kent|
David, I assume that you are related to the Kents? My assumption is based on the fact that you have added Madison (50351210) and his wife to the Duncan Cemetery in Brown County Indiana, however, according to their Death Certificates, they are not there. Madison is buried in Deckard Cemtery, and Martha Parsley Kent is buried in Crouch Cemetery, both in Brown County. I have added Martha to Crouch as she was not up (179769341) but, you already have a nice memorial for her with links, so if you would change her burial location to the correct cemetery, I will delete mine.
I just hunted up your Rachel Judd on Ancestry.com. The Iowa death records shows her actual death certificate with names, dates, etc. It has her death as Aug 28, 1927. I'll try to see if I can email it to you from ancestry. Please don't mind that I butted in with this info. I just joined ancestry and am addicted to genealogy now. lol

David, I just looked at your profile and you really had a nice looking wife. You also had courage to marry more than once. lol I have been divorced for 37 years and it has been, well trying at times. I too have 2 great kids and I was an Air Force bride. He went but I kept his mother and sisters.
