For a memorial transfer, please tell me HOW you are related. Distant relations don't necessarily mean no transfer. But "I'm family. Please transfer this memorial," will be deleted without consideration.

There is an add over the "I am not a robot". I am sorry I had to ask for his transfer this way. I am a Dittemore and can add all his ancestors up to the "father" of our family who died during the Rev War. I also have Jack's wife but I just assumed he had not died because he was not with her. I really appreicate this and I will do right by him, I promise.

Albert Lindsay is apparently the alias for Virgil E. David.
I confirmed this with the office staff who checked the original hand written records.
The stone in that location is engraved with the name Virgil E. David.
Please pm me.
I have a few questions about cem photos in Leavenworth.
Wondering about access process.

Your memorial for Layton is 17390341
Layton was born in Eagle, Colorado. He spent the remainder of this adolescence in Boulder raised primarily by his mother Genevieve and accompanied by his dog, Donny. But the glory years of his life occurred during his time in the Navy.
Although Layton had a very scientific mind, that was exemplified by his many unique patents in the field of Physics during his 35 years of service to the US government at the Naval Electronic Laboratory, his passion was flying. During his enlistment he flew both the Hellcat and Corsair airplanes. While in the Navy he attained the rank of LtJG.
Upon coming to San Diego nearly 60 years ago, he met a very beautiful woman named Dorothy May on a blind date. They soon fell in love, got married, and raised four wonderful children: Helen, Cheri, Douglas, and Veronica.
Layton became a "grandpa" when grandson Eric was born, a "Pa" when granddaughter Chalise was born, and a "Big Bonka" when great-granddaughters Emily, Paige, Erica, and Morgan were born. PA is now with his beloved wife Dorothy, who passed away in March of 2000.
PA passed away peacefully at home on May 17, 2003 and will be laid to rest at Rosecrans National Cemetery on June 27, at 11am. Published in The San Diego Union Tribune on June 8, 2003.
