When I volunteer to photograph a memorial I always look around to see if there are other family members in the same lot or even close by. Quite often there are. If these additional family members do not have a memorial I create one for each and then pass on this information to the requester. Just ask and I will be happy to transfer these memorials. (Please provide your findagrave #)|
If you find any mistakes or errors in the memorials I post feel free to alert me. If you have more information about a person I have listed just contact me by using the "edit" tab on the memorial. Request to transfer memorials which are my immediate family will not be granted unless they are within the four generation guidelines as stated in the FAQS.
** Please do not take my photographs which I have uploaded to find a grave and place them on other websites without my permission. All I ask is that you seek my permission first.

May I use your pictures of this memorial(stones only), for a future e-book I am doing concerning WWI? If so, let me know how you would like them cited.

We tried it again, but the original is not a clear copy. If this one is not satisfactory, it can be removed. Let us know.

Go to www.seekingmichigan.org and search for it. That is where we found it.

I hope that you will correct the birthplace of David Johnson who is bur. in Fairview Ceme., Dansville, Ingham Co., MI, along with adding his middle name:
David Daniel Johnson was born 22 Apr 1853 in Tyrone Twp. There are 2 Tyrone Twps. in MI. The one that you have in Kent Co. is incorrect. The correct Tyrone Twp. is in Livingston Co., MI. He was s/o Oscar and Sarah Melissa (Austin) Johnson.
He mar. and later divorced Phyluria (Austin) d/o Seth Marvin and Catherine Viola (Shepherd) Austin.
Seth was s/o Wm. Austin, Jr. who was somehow
related to Sarah Melissa's father, whom David
got his middle name from - his maternal
grandfather was Daniel Brackett Austin.

I would like to add the photos you added to the Morgan memorials in Old Gray Cemetery in Knoxville, TN to my Family Tree on Ancestry. If you are interested, I have the newspaper article concerning the death of J. Grigsby (Find A Grave Memorial # 73191978)who they first thought had been murder but it turns out that he committed suicide. J. Grigsby's father, John Sanders Morgan (Find A Grave # 73191178) was a former city councilman. Iva Alta Grigsby was his J. Grigsby Morgan's mother (Find A Grave # 73191432)who died when John Grigsby was three years old. John Grigsby was raised by his aunt, Ann Morgan Galyon (Find A Grave Memorial # 60299954). There are four graves on the 10A lot with the Morgan on the large headstone. I have all of their death certificates. James Alexander Morgan (Find A Grave Memorial #65044213)was John Sanders Morgan's brother and he is buried in Lynnhurst Cemetery in Knoxville, TN. William M. Morgan and Margaret Rule were the parents of John Sanders Morgan and James Alexander Morgan. James Alexander Morgan was my great grandfather.
