I love exploring my own genealogy as well as helping others discover theirs! I am currently working on projects for my husband's family . His mother's side has deep roots in the US dating back to the 1600's. Using FindAGrave I am trying to link all of the family members together so future researchers find it easier to locate their family members.

It irks me when edits are declined because a woman's maiden name might not appear on her headstone or dates are not engraved It is difficult enough to locate and trace female family members I appreciate being able to put EXACT birth/death/marriage dates if possible and linking family members together Many times these dates are not listed on stones due to the cost of engraving but if they are known why not share that info to help another family member (researcher) out Creating duplicate memorials only helps confuse family lines especially when there are several family members with the same or similar names I will often ask to have the newer memorial removed if I find this is the case Why can't we help each other instead of hinder?

My own tree is being worked on by both myself and my sister but having roots in the Poland/Austria/Czech area we come upon brick walls often.

My current names are BEDELL/HALLOCK/HOWELL/MILLER/POWELL Leave me a note if you think we may share some lineage. I'd love to compare research and share what info I have discovered!

Requests for transfer are honored for first + second generation only. You can leave a flower on any memorial at any time~ you do not have to be the manager of the memorial to do that.
