Louis Henshaw Photo Request
Greetings... I see you are the person requesting the picture of Louis' grave. I would be happy to take the picture but you need to contact the Hillside Cemetery office, explain how you are related to Louis and ask them to tell you the location of the grave. They have some new, or somewhat new policy that if a person requests the location of a grave they need to either be related or someone who is related needs to give the office permission to give that information to the person requesting. If you get the plot and grave number info you can email me at and I would be happy to take the picture.

RE: Simon Mazer
Aw, sorry about that :(. I did not see any other Mazers nearby or in the section that he was in. There might be other Mazers in the cemetery (which covers 80 acres!), but the office can't look them up without the year that they died. Unless the family bought a big plot, it is actually fairly rare to find family members together in this cemetery.

Simon Mazer
Hi there. I found Simon Mazer's grave, however, it was fallen face down. I know it was his grave according to the cemeterty records based on the people beside him (a Moses Rosenberg and Isidor Steinmetz). I let the cemetery office know about the gravestone, but I am not sure when or if they can do anything about it. I did take a picture of the facedown stone. Would you like for me to still upload it?

RE: Mary Grube
no copy...I'm going to visit the Easton library and see if I can take a look at the book from which this info was taken...I used to actually work for that church and had no idea at the time that my family lines went through it...I may have to contact someone to find out if the books are still housed at the church (they merged with another) or if they were transported to the new location. Either way...I will have to take a look for myself to see if transcription was the error...Maybe Lewis was from a previous marriage or like today...ppl have babies unmarried and then get married...her sister; my great-great grandmother did the same thing (I think); gonna have to look into that before could be?

Just wanted you to know that I finally found and posted the marker for Joseph, Mary, Ella and Sarah Hendricks. Believe you have a photo request, but I didn't see that until after I posted the photos.

Franklin Esterly

I have found a Franklin M. F. Esterly at Aulenbachs Cemetery in PA. He is the only Franklin listed in their records. However the middle initials do not match what is on the memorial and the dates are off. The Franklin I found was born in 1829 and died in 1903.
