Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching my Gamblin family history for over 30 years. We stretch from Alberta, Canada to Missouri, Kentucky, the Carolinas and Virginia with branches into most of the other states. I am adding family members from both Canada and in the United States to Find A Grave in hopes others may benefit. I also hope to add those whom are buried in our local cemeteries.

My great aunt Ada Ruth Faver married Vinyard Gamblin. Was just wondering if we were related!

Thank you so much for catching my typo. I have the correct mother linked now. I should have caught that myself, but obviously didn't.

Have a great day!!!

Gamblins at Mount Hope
Greetings Thelma!

I've been searching for the three Gamblins at Mount Hope Cemetery, Belleville, Illinois, that you have requested photos for. I cannot find any records for these children at Mount Hope. In my searching I found their father and mother at Mount Hope Cemetery in Sedgwick County, Kansas. Could the three in the database listed in Belleville really be in the cemetery in Kansas? There is a photo of the grave of the mother and father in the Kansas Cemetery. What do you think?

Let me know. God bless you!

Steve (Friends of Mount Hope Cemetery, Belleville, IL)

Qualls Children

Hello Thelma. I think I might have met you at the Gamblin Reunion in Sulphur Springs, TX.

Anyway, the Qualls children were with Williams first wife whose name was also Mary. William and our great-aunt Mary Gamblin Earnhart had no children together.

Thank you so much for all you have done for the Gamblin Family on Find A Grave. Sarah "Sally" Gamblin was my great great grandmother and her granddaughter will be 100 this year. Sarah's son lived to be 103. Thanks to you for all your wonderful work! Lea Ann Nall-Williams

I thank you for the information I may have to go into my tree and edit. Some people think that James and William are the same so I have to check this out but I must be on the correct track same family! Aunt Lora will be happy! Many blessings.
