Bio Photo Hello from New Mexico.
I've been excavating and cataloging pioneer cemeteries for over 30 years. In the 1980s I even published a few works on the subject. Like most of you, I'm also an avid genealogist. While I enjoy finding the graves of famous people, I'm more interested in the common soldier and pioneer. Every one of them has a story.

As for genealogy, I am currently working on the surnames Trine, Minter, Dozier, Shackleford and Marquez. I'm also collecting the names and graves of the Maryland 6th Infantry.

I'm usually "on the road," so my photos come from wherever I happen to be. I've had the pleasure of meeting hundreds of wonderful people who share this love for history. Contact me if I can be of any help to you.

ABOUT TRANSFERS: I am happy to transfer anyone who is not my direct ancestor.

RE: Susan A. Granger
Hi, Eddie. Thank you for updating the record. I agree that she should remain listed in Ann Arbor, and having the note attached is effective. Yes, Susan Delamater Granger is my ancestor. Would it be too much trouble to have her transferred to me?

Thank you for help.

RE: Jesse & Rachel Ebaugh
A copy of the death certifiate would be great! Could you email it to ?
Jeremiah Lockard in the 1870 United States Federal Census is showing Rachel E Ebaugh 32 Housekeeper James W Ebaugh 4 - the census date is 17 Aug 1870. Rachel L. Ebaugh in the Maryland, Compiled Marriages, 1667-1899 Name:Jeremiah Lockard

Thanks for your time and all the information as I continue to dig. The Ebaugh family is large and they all have the same first names!!! Easy to go down the wrong branch!

Rachel E Trine Ebaugh
Hi EddieM,
I see that you have an interest in the Trine family and you maintain Rachel E Trine Ebaugh memorial # 10128299. The bio says "However there was also another connection: Noah’s brother, Jesse Ebaugh, was married to Rachael Barbara Ellen Trine, the sister of David Urias Trine. I am interested in the Ebaugh family and in particular Jesse Ebaugh and Rachel Trine Ebaugh. I believe she is memorial # 68094056. Do you have any information on either Jesse or Rachel and who are the people on the stone with Rachel? Thank you for your help..Barb #48070356 or

RE: Prudence & John Simpson
From the obit on her page, my guess would be that he is buried back in Ill, most likely in or near Peoria.

At his daughters request, he was exhumed and moved to a cemetery in Washington, DC. You can contact the Berkeley County Historical Society, in Martinsburg, for additional information.

RE: Walsh Research
Awesome, thanks Eddie. I will check out those resources.

I'm working on a television show and would be willing to pay your cousin for permission to use the photos of the Walsh's. I'd need to get it squared away this as soon as possible though. My direct line is 570-439-1175 or she can email me at
