For those of you that are genealogy buffs, such as I am, you will understand that I am like a moth on a light bulb flitting all over the place. I work on one family line, find others with the same last names, get distracted and flit off on another direction. When I work on surnames, I frequently add non-family members that share the same last name.|
I am not invested in building up the number of memorials that I add. I am interested in people not numbers. I will leave the numbers to someone who might care :-)
I will gladly transfer any of your family members if they are not related to me or if you are more closely related. I do require that you send me an email request with your name and contributor number as well as the individual's name and memorial number you are requesting me to transfer. Too frequently I receive a vague request like please transfer my great-grandfather, John Smith, to me. There are too many John Smith's for me to deal with and I am not aware of any "me's" as contributors.
I have received a lot of "thank you's" for all the work I do on Find-A-Grave. You are more than welcome. I love helping people find their ancestors. I also love it when people help me find mine.

Hi Jean! I have moved the memorial and added her full name w/maiden and linked her to her husband. Thanks for contacting me with the update and thanks for all you do for this website. =0)
|James Burke||RE: George L Strasser|
Thanks for contacting me. Yes, this is the George Strasser you're researching. I found the photo in an untitled book at the Tillamook County Pioneer Museum. I'll add a caption. The book had pictures of most of the local men and women who served in WWII, along with service details and family data. I'm not a relative. I just try to post a photo of these heroes when I find them. Hope this helps!

I have sent you request through the edit page for links and then asking for transfers. I have now read your page where you want this done through email. Is that what you still need or did you write that before the edit tabs became available.

Hi Jean, I saw the photo you posted of Harry. I would be happy to transfer him to you if you wish.

I have been out at Highland Memorial twice and today my hubby found the marker for Joseph but we did not find one for Joan. Since the cemetery office gave me a map and one lot, my guess is she does not have a marker. I will go out there again in the near future when the ground is not so wet and hunt more thoroughly and double check with the office to see if she has a marker placed or not. I just wanted you to know that I didn't forget about you but the weather here has been up and down and the snow finally melted again :)
|Sean McCoy||THANK YOU!|
Jean, thank you for all you do on the Find-a-Grave site. It looks like we are related. You stated you are a 2nd cousin 1 removed to Bernita Feldhusen/McCoy. I am the Grandson to her from her son Kenneth McCoy.
