Please do not request to add a birth date calculated from the gravestone, unless the complete age is known or listed (y/m/d). Dates that do not agree with stone and are not primary sourced will be placed in the bio section or declined.

Transfer requests must be submitted via a SAC and must provide the exact relationship and be within guidelines.
Determine if you really need the memorial transferred to you for management. Transferring of management should only be requested if you have extensive changes to make to a memorial. You can add photos and suggest corrections without having to request management. Simply having someone in your family tree outside guidelines is not grounds for a management transfer request. Transfer requests that do not include relationship to deceased or are out of guidelines are deleted.

Upon request, personal use of photos will be given with proper credit or a findagrave link.

Gibbs and Lightfoot Memorials
FYI, You accidentally posted the same marker photograph on 2 memorials: Marguerite Lightfoot 89034511 (the correct memorial) but you also posted it to Margaret Gibbs 89034509 (the incorrect memorial). Margaret Gibbs is the wife of Fred and you posted the correct photograph of their shared marker to his memorial 89034508.

I deleted from this memorial for Joseph Wickham, the information about Thomas & Mercy (Hunting) Wickham, and Edward. I assumed you had added that since you had the other memorials. Maybe someone else added it instead. Sorry for the confusion. Just trying to verify all info and be accurate.

You have connected Joseph Wickham (76199696) to Thomas and Mercy Wickham, and to a brother Edward. I double and triple check my info and I have not been able to connect them. Where did you find this info, because I tried that info as well but it wasn't correct info.

Mountain View Cemetery
I see you added the photos of the cemetery and was wondering if you by chance lived close by to see if someone's stone can be found in that particular cemetery. My family members church records indicates they are buried in Mt. View, Saugerties. If you'd like to help me find them, please email me through my profile, contact address. Thank you so very much! Tanner 18017016
Since you seem to manage some Tanner memorials, I'd like to know if you happen to know who Catherine Tanner's folks were. She was born about 1808 in New York, married Samuel L. Fleming. Their firstborn was William, born New York about 1834 - the rest of the children were born in Hillsdale County, Michigan.

Catherine's mother is supposed to be named Rachel Tanner (married name or?). Eleazor seemed to be the right age to be Catherine's father. Maybe he had a brother? Any help with this puzzle will be appreciated. I'm not sure what part of New York this family hails from.

Rose A Saur/Sauer/Saar
I'm looking for a Rose A. Saur, born approximately 1906, definite death date of Sept 6, 1959 in Saugerties. She was married to John C Saur, also died in Saugerties. I'm a little confused why I can't find them on FindaGrave, as the both lived in the area most of their lives and definitely died there. Please let me know if you have any ideas how I might figure this out.
Thanks, Eva

Barnabas Horton
Thank you for taking the time to photograph and share the grave marker for Barnabas Horton. Through research I believe that he may be my 10th Great Grandfather. May I use your photograph in my personal family tree file? I use these photographs as an additional source documenting the life & death of my ancestors and their descendants. I will so note that it is being used with permission from Find A Grave Contributor: Fred Saar #46511066.
Thank you again for your time & effort, it is greatly appreciated.

Do you add to the memorials? If so...

I didn't know about this line of my family until a few months ago. Turns out my 5th great grandmother, Margaret Roorback, is less than ten miles away. After a lot of pictures at different angles, I was able to decipher enough of the words on the stone to google. I think it was written by Francis Bunney 1543-1617:

My bark is past- the haven's won-
I fear no stormy sea;
God is my hope, my home is heav'n,
My life is happy ease.

This hope, this home, this life so sweet,
Who'ere would wish to win,
Must banish every vain delight-
Each bitter root of sin.

Sunnyside Farm Cemetery
Hi Fred, Have you ever been to Van Alstyne plot at Sunnyside? I would love to see some pics of the plot. I'm a direct descendant of Marten Abraham Van Alstyne who died c. Jan 1791 and is probably buried on the plot with his wife, Catharina Van Alstyne. There are many others that I think are buried there. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this farm appears to be directly west of Lindenwald.
