If you want a quick response to your photo request please provide a plot location. I take photos at Home of Peace, Calvary, Resurrection, Mt Zion, Los Angeles Oddfellows, Agudath Achim, Beth Israel, Evergreen, cemeteries and some others in the L.A. area and San Gabriel Valley upon request (email me). Folks please try and verify that the person you are requesting a photo for is actually in the cemetery listed. Too many times I've showed up at a cemetery and the person that the photo request is for, is not even interred at that cemetery. Each cemetery page usually has a phone number. Try calling it to verify that your loved one is there! a word for those who have 50 plus photo requests. It's easy to sit back and hit the request a photo button. Pick up the phone, call the cemetery and ask for grave locations! I often run into requests with incomplete information and end up helping with the research just to get it done, so help me and other volunteers by being thorough if possible and not guessing where someone "might" be buried!|

|Christine Mygrant||RE: Hello|
Thanks for the advice Larry! The story I was told, was that she died in Los Angeles and was brought back on a train to Illinois and buried at a Mount Calvary Cemetery there. My grandmother said she went to a Mount Calvary near Chicago where they lived, but they had no record of her. I think that could be some of the confusion. I am traveling to Chicago next week, and plan to do more research while I'm there. Thanks again!

Thank you for your response. I called the cemetery and they said they did not find her listed there. I will continue my search!

Larry, thank you so much for snapping a picture of Jerome Renne's grave! His brother George was my great-great-grandfather (and a fellow Civil War veteran), and I've been wrapping up some genealogical research on their family. It is nice to have a snapshot of Jerome's final resting place to include with the other photos I've gathered.

Thank you for your feedback. I got the grave location by calling the cemetery office. They have him listed under "Eddie Boland" which was the name he used professionally. He was unmarried and w/o children, so it's entirely possible that his grave was left w/o a headstone. I was just hoping otherwise.

Thank you, Larry for the picture. Do you know if there are any pictures of the woman herself. Rhea, her daughter, was my Grandmother on my Dad`s side. Thank you for all you do.
