Bio and Links
Bio Photo A link in the chain has been broken;
Your loved one has gone to rest.
But through your tear dimmed eyes you see,
That a loving God knows best.
And you must go on without her, and though your loss is great,
She will be there to meet you
At Heaven's Golden Gate.

By Marvel Bennett, written for my mother, Lois Goodman Skinner
=============================
A limb has fallen from the family tree.
I keep hearing a voice that says,
"Grieve not for me.
Remember the best times, the laughter, the song,
The good life I lived while I was strong.
Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine thru.
My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest.
Remembering all, how I truly was blessed.
Continue traditions, no matter how small.
Go on with your life, don't worry about falls
I miss you dearly, so keep up your chin.
Until the day comes we're together again.

Many Thanks, etc.
Hello Carol,
Many thanks to you for your work on Find A Grave--I can't tell you how valuable your contributions to this site have been to me in researching my family genealogy. I notice that you have done a lot of work concerning the Bean/Beane lines of western PA. I am a Bean from the William "Billy" Bean line (Find A Grave memorial 37434176). Do you know of anyone who has done extensive Bean/Beane genealogy work? I have been trying endlessly to find out who William's parents were or locate information on any of his siblings but have not had any luck. I have also been unable to verify his being born in Lancaster, PA or verify the story of him being kidnapped as a child even though this same story is in the Clan MacBean lineage book (which I have). Any clues, etc. are welcomed. And again my sincere appreciation to you for helping to keep history alive!
P.S. This is my first time leaving a message and was not sure how to otherwise contact you.

Hi! Yes, you're right. I have corrected it to 1783. Thanks for pointing that out. Bev

RE: John Damcott
Well don't I feel stupid. Neither the family member or I saw that. Thanks and I am so sorry. I need to slow down. My friend did not know about the two memorials and was so happy to find them.

Kathryn E. Bean Jensen
Hi Carol, I logged on to my ancestry.com account and did a search for Kathryn Bean. It my be possible that her parents were Percy and Alice Bean. I would have to check at the library for an obit to made sure. Thanks, Jon.
