Leonard Henley
Your comment on his memorial is in error. He was not born in 1694. He had achieved his majority and received a reissue of his father's land patent in 1694.

Visart
Thank you for posting remembrances for my ancestors here. How did you find them and how are we related? I found that one of my ancestors, Emily May Visart, married Robert Emmett Puryear.

What is your line? I would like to add that branch to my tree. Thank you again.

Hi Grady, saw your recent note on Leonard...do you have a site where you've posted his full genealogy? I'm looking for the father of William Alexander (Hendly) Henley b abt 1790 d before March 1843 in Franklin Co Tenn. but hitting the proverbial brick wall. Thanking you in advance.

Seymour Puryear
Got a chuckle at your flowers and comment about Seymour Puryear being a glutton for punishment. He married my ggg grandmother and gave up after her! It had been passed down through the family that she married a Puryear and moved to North Carolina. Just found them resting away in the cemetery last night!

It's just me...
Pearson family members
Hi, I saw that Samuel C. "Dink" Pearson was your uncle. I am hoping that you can give me some information on an uncle of Dink's. Isaac Pearson, Dink's father, had a brother by the name of Leonard H. Pearson. He married Lucinda Angeline Wilks in 1869 in Travis County and they had a son by the name of Samuel L. Pearson. I am hoping that you can tell me what happened to Leonard H. Pearson. The marriage record is the last record that can be found for him, he just seems to totally drop off entirely by 1871 as his wife Lucinda remarried to an Alfred Varner by March 3, 1871. Do you know what happened to him, his date of death and/or possibly where he is buried? Any information would greatly be appreciated!! All family trees on ancestry.com seem to have the same problem, no one has any info on him or his death. Thank you, L. Varner
