|I have been researching my various ancestors for forty years. I try to be careful to research any information I find so that my research is as accurate as possible, but you will not upset me if you suggest corrections! I want to get the facts straight. |
Some of the surnames I am researching are Stroud, Ensey, Beach, Duncan, Gibbons, Daniel, Elliott, Damron, Aston.

Hi Jamie. Great to receive your message. I'll reply via email (from email@example.com - check your spam folder if you don't see my reply today).
It seems the original record transcriptions for the Kiowa Cemetery were based on a book by Leila Ford Evett called: "Kiowa Cemetery". The record shows a Charles Perry (no middle name) but with the same date of death. Perhaps someone simply made an assumption about Charles's middle name and the names of his parents, or even if indeed he was a child? In any event, I have since edited the information on Charle's F.A.G. memorial. By the way, Charles only has an unmarked field stone that is being used as his memorial marker, so no other information can be gained from actually seeing it.
I hope this helps.

Thank you so much for this photo of my 4th great grandfather. You are a genealogy angel.

Jamie, please accept my apologies. I hadn't looked at the photograph, nor had I read your caption. According to the Social Security Death Index, it was Sep 30.

Thank you so much for the information. I am a Watts descendant too. I have William & Lucinda included in my family posting at Rootsweb. I have been working several years trying to find the descendants of that family and add their information to my data file so that my grandchildren will have the information. The link below will take you to my Rootsweb posting. You may have to do a copy/paste:
The changes you suggested have been completed except for the spelling of "Melinda". I hesitate to spell it differently that what is on the headstone, but if you are direct family, and say that's the way it should be spelled, I will change it. Let me know!
