|I am the family historian of all four of my grandparents and of all four of my husband's grandparents. I am willing to help others find the graves of their loved ones, friends, and ancestors. I live in Denton County, Texas, but am very close to Cooke, Fannin, Grayson, and Collin Counties also. |
I enjoy posting photographs on my family trees and in my virtual cemeteries.
I teach at Pilot Point Intermediate School and have involved my sixth graders in my project, "Tombstone Technology". www.donorschoose.org/toveross.
Also, please be advised that I don't mind sharing pictures of tombstones. If it was added by me or my students, you have complete permission to use it on this website, Ancestry.com, or anywhere else it will help someone explore their heritage or history of a community. Pictures by others, well, you are taking your chances. A lot of folks just don't like to share.

|Doris||Wife of Jesse Lair Osburn|
I have suggested a change for Jesse Lair Osburn's wife to Mary Wingate (Dickenson) Osburn #6613755. If you look carefully at the picture of the grave marker on Jesse's page, you will see his wife shares the stone and her name is shown as Mary d Osburn.
She was the daughter of William Tate Dickenson and Cora (Melcora) (Craven) Dickenson, both of whom are also in the Melissa cemetery. My information is based on the fact that she was the sister of Samuel russell Dickenson, my husband's grandfather. My husband remembers "Aunt Mary" and her niece, Ruby (Dickenson) Bounds remembered her lovingly in a speech given to the women's club of McKinney.

Hi, I transferred her page to you. Thank you for sending it as a SAC; it's much easier and assures the #s are correct.

Hi, please request this transfer thru the SAC edit tab (suggest a correction). That way I'll have the correct memorial # and your contributor # to make the transfer. Thank you,

Really, well hello cus. I've only done the male's on the Deel side and hit a brick wall at Bennett Robert Deal. I was fixing to start with his children next. The discussion Forums here on Find A Grave has the greatest bunch of people. They have helped me so,so much. Here I've been researching my family and it never cross my mine that there are other family's out there researching the same material. I'm so glad I came across this site. Let me know if you would be interested in exchangeing information. Thanks a lot. Kenny Deel

|GD Wallace||Memorial error|
You had no way of knowing because of the headstone name, but "Lizzie Wallace" 62361591 is a duplicate of Margaret Elizabeth Carson Wallace 26808103, posted by Mike T, transferred to me for more information added. Would you please remove "Lizzie"? She married my great granduncle.
Thanks. GD Wallace
