Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am currently living back in Iowa, and have been working on my family tree since 1980. I have always liked walking in cemetery's and reading the stones.
If you have any information, or want information on anyone that I have posted please e-mail me with find a grave in the subject line.It doesn't hurt to ask I may have information. I have posted a lot in the Early Union Cemetery. I have little or no information on them but it is one cemetery that I have walked in and also worked in as a kid getting it cleaned up for memorial day with the caretakers of that time. I wanted to post all of the graves on line and am working on that now. There are a lot more than I thought. If anyone wants me to delete any of them I will be happy to do so just send me an email with Find a Grave in the subject line.
Here is a neat little Quote

What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others.

An interesting website.

Duplicate listing at Englewood Cemetery
Hello - I am working on the family of Andrew Wilson and Sophronia Chitwood Wilson. There appears to be a duplication of the grave information on one of their chilren. Your Memorial number 19289392 for Dock Addison Wilson appears to be the same Memorial number 38622534 for Dock Adam Wilson. The cemetery for both is Englewood Cemetery, Clinton, Henry COunty, MO, USA. The specific location is provided on the other listing BUT the gravestone pictures provided are the same photos.

I am pretty sure there was only one Dock A... Wilson. On the 1870 US Census for Point, Pulaski, KY there is a 10 year old male child [parents Andrew and Sophrona [sic] wilson named "Doctor A Wilson. By 1880 this child was not in the home of these parents.

Appreciate your help

I don't think I have your line in my tree yet. I have a tree on Ancestry called The Hubbard Family Tree. I am sure you can find many corrections and/or additions to it.

I am sure we are cousins somewhere down the line.

So, are you related to all these people? I am a descendant of the ANDRESENS also. Some of them just quit trying to correct others all the time and that is the different last name spellings.

Do you by chance have a tree online I could look at?

RE: Rudolph Anderson
No, I volunteer for Plymouth County Iowa project. If you will look at Rudolph's father Christ. Andersen it is actually spelled Andersen. Various family members have altered the spelling, some go by the original Andresen, some altered it to Andersen and some Anderson. But they all are related. It is up to you whether you want to change Christian Andersen to Andresen (as stated in the obituary) I have the grandfather of Rudolph Anderson's grandfather and wanted to know if you want to maintain it? I have sent you a edit to connect Christ. Andersen to his father and mother.
