DO NOT USE MY EMAIL IN THE BIO FOR A SOURCE WHEN ADDING MY EDIT INFORMATION. It adds an incredible amount of spam in my mail due to web robots. "Volunteer 46947920" or my name will suffice nicely.

This was a wondrous site where the upcoming generations can easily find their history and ancestors. Even after we are gone, our work will remain. Thank you, Findagrave.

My tree was done generations ago, thanks to my ancestors. Now my time is spent on documenting cemeteries, research, linking memorials, reuniting families, and connecting the dots; my virtual flowers now represent edits. Quality, not quantity.

We are all simply the guardians of those we have kindly added until their family comes along. I am eager to transfer anyone who is not family to family. BUT, request through the system, not here, not email! Demands will be ignored, "please" is simply common courtesy.

I take my heritage, 'graving' and documentation very seriously and most respectfully. Accuracy is of the most utmost importance to me, not who 'owns' a memorial. If I have made an error, please, please, let me know, politely. If you are rude, I will ignore you.

** I spend over half my time on Findagrave JUST sending edits to admin for duplicates. PLEASE double check before you add a historical person from the 1600's or back. Most likely, they have already been added.

** PLEASE read the FAQ concerning BURIALS UNKNOWN. They are to be used for RECENT deaths only, not your 176th great grandfather whose burial is 'not located yet.' I adhered to the rules, please do the same. I will not link to an unknown burial.

** If your pictures are crooked, of poor quality, out of focus, too dark to read, taken at night, shadowed, or the stone is covered in dirt or weeds, or your finger was in front of the lens, I will add my photo on the memorial. I apologize, I do not intend to offend. It is not out of disrespect for the other photographer, it is out of respect for the deceased and the family who might appreciate a good photo of the stone. Please have the gumption and consideration to post only decent, well thought out photos.

**USE THE MEMORIAL EDIT/SUGGESTION OPTION ON THE MEMORIAL you want updated for updates requests, transfer requests, or general inquiries for ANY memorial, it gives me easy access to the memorial in question, I have entered thousands. I will Ignore and delete suggestions, requests and updates and inquiries left here or in email.

Marcus Carter #165896756
Marcus is my husband's 3X great grandfather. I am the genealogist in the family, however, so I have taken to referring to them all as "mine". If you want to lighten your load and transfer him, I will gladly accept. If not, that's ok, too. :)

Margaret de Huntingdon
Hi Anne,

Sorry that it has taken so long to get back to you. I had nothing that said she was buried with her spouse. I wanted to see if I could find where she may be buried so when I added her Memorial I wanted to start with the cemetery where her spouse was and I got my answer so I will keep searching. I have put her on the unknown for now. Thank You for letting me know that she is not buried here.

RE: Moore/Thornton
no, I am not related. I had Mary's sister Florence's obit and was linking the family. Then also realized I had Mary's obit (1956) as well.

Thank you for doing the edits. Much appreciated.

RE: Deborah Lincoln Lincoln 72924412
With all due respect you now have made changes that are compounding the errors. I'm correct with this info, and would be happy to supply primary sourcing, probate records/wills, and deeds. In summary:

Deborah Lincoln d/o Samuel Lincoln was b. 6/15/1689 married on 2/28/1710-1 James Lincoln and died 11/25/1711 shortly after giving birth.

Deborah Burr d/o JOHN Burr b. 1/22/1689 married Nehemiah Lincoln on 5/16/1717 and died 6/6/1760

Hope this clears it up.

Thanks
David

This grave is not for the Deborah who was b. 1689 the daughter of Samuel Lincoln and the wife of James Lincoln. She died on Nov. 25, 1711 shortly after giving birth to son James. This is all per the vital records of Hingham.

Ah, but it is the grave of that Deborah. Her death date is wrong. This is all per extensive research and the cemetery records, and the photographer.

You're incorrect. You are attributing this, the grave site of Deborah Burr b. 1/27/1689 who married Nehemiah Lincoln and died on 6/7/1760 (as per your photograph of the gravestone which reflects this info), with Deborah Lincoln w/o James Lincoln and d/o Samuel Lincoln, Regards David

Leonard Robinson (1736-1827)
Hi Ann,

It's neat to meet a cousin as I saw you left a flower for my memorial of my 5X great uncle Leonard Robinson who was your ancestral grandfather. I am one of the few surviving direct Robinson's left from the old family and am the family historian who goes to Bennington still. It is refreshing to meet a cousin and I would be happy to share some cool stuff with you on uncle Leonard. Email me at Robinsonsdc@aol.com if interested. I am familiar with your grandfather Amos Shurtleff and Louise Diantha Robinson. Thanks.
Best,
Doug Robinson
