For thirty plus years I have been involved in genealogy. When my mother died, she left some notes about a few ancestors she had uncovered and hoped I would continue her research. That was the hook-in-the-jaw that changed my life. I only regret that I have missed out on so many years that I could have used. Alas, all those family stories that went in one ear and out the other, and all those family members who took so much information to the grave with them. |
I am, however, thankful for the tools that are now available and for FindAGrave, a platform that I have spent many hours gaining from and contributing to.
If I have created a memorial for a member of your family, who isn't related to me, and you can add a biographical sketch I will be glad to transfer it to you. Many have received a transfer/transfers & have never added anything. This isn't fair to kin who may come along later who can do so. I will not transfer in mass numbers.

|Sharron Rustman||Dodson family|
Virgina, Rhett Dodson gave me your name. My name is Sharron Williams Rustman. My 3rd great grandparents were Benjamin Hubbard and Elizabeth(Dodson) Williams. Another 2nd great grandparents were Drury Armstead and Mary Jane Logan. I think that Drury parents were Joab and Tabitha (Tilitha) Dodson Logan. I would love to find out more informaion on them.

Are you related to George & Isabelle Laningham?
|Dianna Penn||Lucretia Love Pitner|
Lucretia Love Pitner is my ancestor. I said that the opposite way aroun and I don't know how to fix it.
|Dianna Penn||Lucretia Love Pitner|
I am an ancestor of Lucretia Love Pitner. Her daughter's name was Nora Maude and she was born in 1887. I have been looking for information on Nora Maude for over 30 years. I don't know if you have any more information about the Love or Pitner families but Nora didn't die until 1972. I'm not sure why she's listed as "not living" in 1910 except that she had gotten married to my great grandfather, James Conley Pugh, when she was 15 or younger and moved to Missouri.

Thank you so much. And again, thank you for your much needed and appreciated work with Find-A-Grave.
I am wanting to know where you got the information on Samuel A Riley. He is buried in the eaton cemetery. That was my grandpa's dad's name. I am confused about the date because my grandpa was born in 1898 and he was grown and with his dad when he dad. So I know he didn't die in 1903 because my grandpa would have only been 5. Also didn't know why it says Saint Ann Jamaica. I don't know if there is two Samuel Rileys'. My grandpa's name was Edgar Riley his brothers are Luther, William and Claude. I hope you can help me. I just started doing family history. My grandpa passed away in 1997. Thank you.
