Bio and Links
Bio Photo Have been researching family geneology for over 20 years now. I live in Las Vegas, Nevada, with my wife, daughter, and three cats. Originally from Dolores, Colorado, my family homesteaded the area in 1873. Robinsons, Duvalls, Jacksons and Lofquists on my moms side, Wesches, McLaughlins and Hydes on my dads.
If you are related to any persons memorial I have added simply contact me and I will happily transfer. Doesnt matter to me how closely related you are, if Im not and you are, then I think you should have it. If I am related, then its a case by case basis. I have transferred memorials to people more closely related than I...
Wanted to add a bit here, simply to thank the many people who have made this site an amazing experience for me. A nicer bunch of people I have seldom met anywhere, and I think its wonderful that so many honor the dead, both their own, and others. God Bless You All!

While in Leadville, Colorado on vacation I came across 2 photos of the above mentioned individual. I have a hobby of returning "found" photos back to their families. If you know anyone interested in them I would be happy to mail them to that person free of charge.

RE: # 60646618 Laura Davis Hogle
Thank you for the transfer offer, but no I am not knowingly related to anyone named Hogle. I just happened to fall across an edit to Laura's Find A Grave memorial that seemed to be appropriate, and helpful.

RE: Elizabeth M Brisbane
Dear Johnny

I became a member of Find-a-grave because I found a number of problems with family gravesites which I wanted to correct. So far I have been told that all my contributions contradict accurate information. Elizabeth Boyd Brisbane is my great-great-great-grandmother. I have been working on my ancestry family tree to fill in all the Brisbanes and Carys of Batavia, and I have been to Batavia cemetery to look at and photograph the gravestones.
To get back to Elizabeth Boyd Brisbane: I have seen the stone and looked at it from a number of angles, as well as photographed it. It does not say Elizabeth M. Brisbin; it says M. Elizabeth Brisbin. I don't know what that means, because she did not have a first name M. according to the record of her marriage in Philadelphia to John Brisbane. I don't know if it means Mrs.? At any rate, the cemetery made an error, an understandable one.
Thank you

Hi Johnny,
Oops. Sorry for the sloppiness on my part and for passing the cleanup work to you. I've transferred the management of both memorials to you to redo as you wish.
Many thanks for your work and kindness.

Dr. William M. Knapp
Thank you for the bio on Wm Knapp. I have added it to the site. I was in Hope and took random pictures at the cemetery to load, so don't believe he is related to my family (although I would guess they would have known each other). If you would like to manage this record, I would be happy to transfer it to you. If not, that's fine too.

RE: John Grant Lichtenberger
I paid for the death certificate of the Grant Lichtenberger who died in 1919 in Chicago. The hospital where he died was the "informant" for it. There were no family names or birth date or birthplace (except just "Ill") listed on it. However, it did give his age - 33 - which would have been Grant's age at the time of death which was Jan. 13, 1919. It listed his occupation as Package handler for Am Express. It also listed his "former or usual residence" as Seattle, Wash. That's where his mother and brother were living at the time. It also said he contracted the disease at 4038 Wood St. I assume that would be in Chicago. The death cert. didn't specify. It also stated that he was buried at "Evergreen" on Jan. 16, 1919.

He died of "Pneumonia Labor" (never heard of that) with Influenza as a contributing factor. I did a little research on the hospital where he died. It was Hehnemann Hospital, now defunct. It closed ca. 1922. It was a homeopath hospital. One ad I found said they put Listerine "in every orifice of the body" for treatment of various ailments. Anyway, I cannot find another source for Grant after his WWI draft registration, so I am wondering if this is in fact his death certificate.

Still no definitive "proof" but maybe a step closer. Will update you if I find any more. Thanks!

Grant Lichtenberger s/o Seneath
Senath Louise Duvall Lichtenberger Find A Grave Memorial# 33030811

I have been researching her son, Grant. On Ancestry I found Pueblo Colorado city directories for 1903-1910 that list "Senath L Lichtenberger (wid Alan) running a boarding house at 304 1/2 N. Santa Fe Ave. In most years, all 3 children are listed individually living at the same residence. Grant is listed mostly as "J Grant" and once as "Grant J". I also found a World War I draft registration that lists John Grant Lichtenberger, born June 27, 1885. No birthplace is given, but he registered at "Chicago City no 40, Illinois, United States". His nearest relative was "Senath Lichtenberger" at "917 Cherry St. Seattle, Washington". That address matches other sources I found where Seneath was living with her son, Ray.

So, I saw on Seneath's Find A Grave memorial that Grant died in 1900. The city directories and the the WWI draft registration suggest he died later.
My question is this, what source do you have that he died in 1900? I cannot find an obit for any location or date. I did find two death indexes. One was for John G Lichtenberger who died in 1968 in Chicago. I ruled that one out (he was born in Michigan). I also found one for Grant Lichtenberger who died 13 Jan 1919 in Chicago. But I cannot find any other info about that Grant to either link him or disprove it is him. Any suggestions?
Thank you!!
