Bio Photo FIRST LET ME SAY I Will GLADLY TRANSFER A MEMORIAL I have created if they are NOT an ancestor of mine and I welcome any and all corrections or additions. Please feel free to use any photos or info I have posted, Please know that I am not about numbers! I am the wife of a Canadian/Texacan, mother of 3 & Meme to 7 so far. We live in Texas now where I have lots of roots close by. I became interested in Family History because of my Uncle Gene. He was collecting family info back when it was very hard compared to now, in the early 50's, way before pc's and the internet. It is thanks to him that I have so many wonderful pictures and info on my father's side of the family. I have had the bug to collect Family History for over 40 years. So I now have over 8000 family names in my PAF file along with thousands of pictures to pass to my descendants.I love to help others anytime that I am able to. Never have all the time that I would like, but do what I can. Thanks to all of those that came up with this site, and keep it going, it is a great help to so many.Shelia Ivy Eyers

James Crawford
Hi from Blenhaim, Ontario, Canada
I came across your name on the Find A Grave site while looking into James Crawford (1819 * 1883). He was my greatgreatgrandfather, and I have a photo of his gravestone if it is of any interest to you. Is he a part of your tree,if so, I have quite a bit of information, but can't go anywhere before him. James was born in Ireland, but died in Ontario, Canada. As you have found out, I would imagine, it is really hard to find information at times. Looking forward to hearing from you.

RE: L. W. Johnson
Hi Sheila,

I've dug into this a bit more and found that you are somehow related to Mary and Charles Johnson, they are my great-great-great grandparents.
Do you have any further information on them?
Specifically, I'm looking for information on their daughter Vashti's 1st husband.

Thank you!

Lucinda Ivy
Hi Shelia. I am working on the Peoples/Peebles family for a friend. Research is pointing to the fact that Lucinda (however they spell it) Ivy is the daughter of William Peoples, Sr and his wife Elizabeth Ivy who married in Aug of 1811 in Maury County TN. We think that Lucinda who was born in GA was their first child. Her brother Wm, Jr. appears next and is born in TN.

By 1817 they were in Jasper Co., MS. Before 1850, William and Elizabeth moved to Rapides Par., (later Winn Parish) LA. Lucinda (Peoples) Ivy stayed in Jasper Co near her brother William Peoples, Jr. By 1860 they had all joined his father and siblings in Winn Parish.

Just wanted to offer these hints - in case this is one of your families. Thank you for all of the work you have done for findagrave. It is a precious resource! Jane Debenport

Mamie "Mable" Stephens Davis
Hi Sheila, first I want to thank you for your work on this project. Second, I would like to discuss what I believe is an error on my Grandmother's page in regards to her middle name. My father, Samuel Lawrence Davis, told me it was Mabie. Is there any way it can be changed from Mable?
I realize that you didn't create this page and that in any case it's an easy mistake to make.
Thanks again,
Kaye Davis Stover

Thank you for the memorial photo for Willis Selman; I was hoping for a picture of his CSA marker since the listing states "Inscription - CSA" but that does not show in the picture.

I am in the process of working my way through the photo requests of gravestones at Royal Oak Burial Park, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. The administrator for the cemetery has been helping me with grave locations. Unfortunately, she has no record of the above named person being buried at the cemetery. Sorry no picture available.
