I'm always researching history of Perry county, cemeteries is just a part of that. The shame of it is the coal companies have actually stripped a few cemeteries and several indian mounds out with their coal. Never to be seen again, are the final resting places of some of the first settlers to Perry county. I cant decide if they were heartless or mindless....BOTH!|

Would you be able to get a picture of my Gr, Gr, Grandmothers tombstone. I see you are the contributor for my Grandfather Peter Carroll the spouse of Anna Walpole Carroll #12018193?
Your time is greatly appreciated!

|Jennifer Burke Rowe||Edward Burk, Jr|
I was wondering if it possible that the year of death and age of an individual could be incorrect on a tombstone. I believe Edward Burk, Jr. buried in Saint Peters Catholic Church Cemetery in Perry County, is my relative. However, I show his death as occurring on April 13, 1876. I also show his birthdate as Oct. 28, 1856. His parents were Edward and Mary, but the spelling of Burk should be Burke.
I am also wondering if you can tell me how many graves from Saint Peters Catholic Church Cemetery might still be unlisted as I am searching for others in Edward's family.
Any insight you could provide would be greatly appreciated!

Josh, if you are related to Letta, she was my grandmother Louetta Fox's sister. Her parents are Nelson Francisco & Minnie Springer buried in Collins Chapel Cmty. Fairfield Co., along with sister Tresa Layberger & bro Elsworth Francisco. Louetta is buried Maple Grove Cmty.

You made my day when I found the pictures. Tried to follow the children sites and it is amazing what the people are doing with the Find A Grave site. I really appreciate it. Having trouble copying the pictures. Still looking for Leonard Bell's grave or information about his death. He was born June 6,1813 in Westmoreland, Pa. Died Jan. 16, 1879 in Hocking county, Falls Gore Twp. Maybe he was buried on family ground and nothing to tell where. He married Samantha White on Aug. 25, 1872 Hocking county. I have a lot of information but always need more to make it complete. Thanks Again

Hi Josh, Thank you for creating the above Donnelly memorials in South Fork Cemetery. There is no way I would ever have found these Perry County OH gravesites without your help. Now....would you please link the three memorials to each other? Elizabeth is the mother and Dessadarius and Charles are two of her sons. An adjacent stone is the husband of Elizabeth, J.J.Donnelly, but his memorial #64203940 was created by another person who, I suppose, is the only person who can link J.J. to his wife Elizabeth and two sons. Thank you. Helen

Hello Josh, thank you for taking these photos and creating all these pages. Simon and Susanna Bell, in Mt. Hope cemetery were my 4G-Grandparents. The other Bells and the Emricks in Mt. Hope Cem. are their children and granddaughter. Would you mind transferring them to me?
Also, Isaac Barnes, II and his mother Susanna Barns in Vansickle cemetery were my 4G Grandfather and 5G Grandmother, respectively, and I would love to have them transferred as well. Thank you so much!

Could you tell me when you took the pictures of this cemetery...sliding down hill...?
|Karen (Ault) Buchanan||RE: Shreve Cem. Perry County, Ohio|
Thank you Josh. I am really upset over this being Perry State Forest Property and they have disrespected this site. If they know it is there, and they didn't want it there...than they should have moved the remains to a decent place. The Shreve name is in my ancestry back to my Gr. Grandmother, Martha Shreve who is the mother of my Grandfather, Samuel Albright. (My mother's side of the family). I have gone back 13 generations for this family. This just makes me sick. A call to Ohio will be on my "to do" list to find out what is going on here.
