Burket Cemetery
Bummer that you moved away. I have 3 pending photo requests at Burket for my 2-3x great grandparents. I talked to Lorna on Friday, but she couldn't pinpoint burial location or whether they had headstones. If you're ever in the area again, maybe you would have some luck. By next summer I hope to have a camper, and plan on a multi-state road trip. PA, Warriors Mark and Burket are on my list!

Edits
Thanks for the quick turnaround on all of my edits! I've been working very hard on this Hannah/Hanna line. Mary (Hannah) Bressler is my 2xGGma. It took some major digging to find out who she exactly was, after documenting all of my Bressler line. Their only child that left PA was my great grandfather, John. I live in his daughter Marion's home, my deceased grandparents. I absolutely have found a deep love and connection to my PA relatives and ancestors that I really never knew anything about!

I just sent links to his parents and a correction for his death date. He could not have died in 1860 because his parents were not married until 1883. According to the Catherman family genealogy he was born on Feb. 27, 1886 in McAlisterville and died there in July of the same year.

John H. Lever
Hi Clancy,

Many thanks for adding the grave of John H. Lever. John Lever was the son of Thomas Lever, who was brought over from Manchester in England by Dr. John PLUMBE in 1820 to build an iron forge and the first metal screw factory. John H. Lever followed his father's trade as a master blacksmith.

Thomas Lever's father, John was the partner of John Philips, whose sons Henry, James & Hardman Philips were the founders of Philipsburg.

Regards,
Jeremy
