Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Virginia and have always had a fascination with cemeteries. Especially the old ones. Find A Grave has given me the opportunity to help others with their research and learn more about my local history through my searches. It's exciting when a grave is located, it's like finding a treasure. I take the time to clean off the grave and to me it feels like for a moment in time that person is being remembered. It's a good feeling.

Old Lawyers Station Cemetery
Thanks for the reply. I am compiling things we want to visit, but if there is no stones I am not sure we will make the side trip. I will let you know if we are.

Old Lawyers Station Cemetery
Hi, I am trying to find out if the cemetery is on private land or can I visit it? I am unable to figure out exactly where it is since the town is gone. We are going to VA in July and hoped to see Christopher Henderson Clarks grave.

Thanks Ruairi

Laying of Wreaths 2011
A note of thanks to you and your husband for laying a wreath on Pvt. Marchbanks' grave in 2011. He was my 2nd cousin 3x removed and although distant kin, it touched my heart to know that he was honored for his service.
