I live near Fort Worth, Texas. I have been doing genealogy research about 20 years and enjoy searching for any and all stories, facts and relationships of my ancestors. I joined Find a Grave about two years ago and it has already been a tremendous help in my family research.|
My family lines are: Dorrell, Day, Thomas, Stallings, Russell, Williams, Sparks and Robbins. Most of my recent ancestors lived in Texas, Louisiana, Missouri and Arkansas.

James, such an awesome bio for G-Grandfather! I certainly wasn't expecting such a thorough one. Thanks so much.
Have a great Valentine's Day, Suse

A pleasure to meet you, Cousin! :)
Daddy was a special, special man. I'm so pleased that you liked his photos and bio. He absolutely hated to have his picture taken, so I had a time locating decent ones of him. In the thousands Mama and I have of him, his face is always averted or head lowered. We have many of his back!
I last saw Aunt Annie in the fall of 1972. Daddy and my ex had gone to Vidor, TX, so skipped over to Beaumont to see her. She was terribly frail at that time.
If memory serves me correctly, Daddy never got to see her again. When she passed away, he was in the hospital recovering from varicose vein surgery in both legs. He was so devastated that he was unable to go to her funeral. Shortly afterwards, though, Cyrille came to visit Daddy and Mama.
Toots had come by several years before. Those two men sat up until the wee hours of the night drinking beer and eating chocolate cake. What a combo - both the men AND their eating/drinking habits.
Thanks for your sweet message and do take care.

|Donna Ellison||Coers / Grosgebauer|
James, there are two people named Grosgebauer buried in the same plot with Alfonso Coers. Are they related? If so I will transfer if you like.
|Donna Ellison||RE: Coers Gravestones|
I can make memorials,add photos and then transfer them if you wish.
|Donna Ellison||Coers at San Marcos|
Are you interested in the other Coers buried in San Marcos cemetery? I took photos of three plots with the Coers name. If you have the info and want to make memorials,I can add photos. If you don't, I can make them and transfer to you.
|Larry||RE: Thanks !|
You're welcome. Thanks to Bonnie Manning,
most of the cemetery has a memorial. I live
about 40 miles away and will go back.
I do hope to locate your other request. Larry
