If I don't respond to a request for transfer it means I prefer to retain the memorial.

In the event a photo of a headstone is not included, it generally means that the memorial information was taken from a cemetery transcription or death record. One of those who did the transcription was Elizabeth C. Curtis. Without her efforts cemeteries such as Trinity United Methodist and Old Third Central Presbyterian Cemetery records would not be included or available since neither of the above church exists today, including the cemetery and headstones. I found out on January 21, 2010 that internment's of Old Third Central Presbyterian Church Cemetery have been moved to Riverview Memorial cemetery in Charleston.

Some of the headstones at the Circular Church were impossible to read, however the church had previously documented many of the graves sites by plot #'s. In those cases where I could not read the headstone I used the information from the church records found at the Charleston library to identify the headstones. I did list the plots #'s on the majority of the memorials.

A special thanks to the work of Clare Jervey published in 1906 with the transcription of St. Michael's. Her transcription allowed me to include much that was unreadable.

Charles F. Bauer
Hello,

I am a relative of Charles Bauer: Memorial# 161606085

Do you know who may have linked Anna Mueller to him as a spouse? (Memorial# 134346330). I'm afraid that this is the wrong Anna Bauer. Charles' Anna outlived him. Her maiden name was Seifert.

Can you help me understand where this link came from?

Thanks,
/Brian

RE: Suggestion on memorial
Ok thanks Saratoga. I have since added some photos to his memorial. Read the msg for the cemtery, yea now I see who owns Rosehill, I can understand the problem taking grave photos there. Some outfit gave me all kinds of grief on my parents grave here in Wichita.

Suggestion on memorial
Saratoga-thanks for all your work in the cemeteries. Am wondering if you would consider making the memorial for Peter Schuttler I, in Rosehill Cemetery and Mausoleum (memorial 172455471)a famous memorial. His wagons built in Chicago were used all across the west, BC, and Mexico in the 1800's. The Mormons used his wagons exclusively when they emigrated west to Utah; and many of the pioneers that settled the West used his wagons. Thanks for the consideration.

Nicholas W Darrell grave
Any chance you or anyone you know would be able to do a rubbing of Nicholas W. Darrell's headstone so we could transcribe what's written on if?

RE: Anna Meybert
Yes, wanted to get all this straight. Their Daughter Helen Marie Meybert Shaw is buried in the next lot over (Lot 89 Grave 3) I suspect her Brother George Harold Meybert and his wife Irma may be in graves 1 & 2 in this plot, I am trying to confirm that and will add them if I do. Thanks for your help

William Berrian Dayton, Find A Grave Memorial #10515037
You added an obituary to William Berrian Dayton, Find A Grave Memorial #10515037. I cannot find any mention of the name Dayton anywhere in the column. Does this obituary belong on a different memorial?

Thank you for putting on Phelps Burial Ground. Please correct James' name on the above listed memorial. It should read Josiah Gregory. Josiah is a family name that is used yet today.
