Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hey. I live in Ardmore, TN (a two-state city on the Alabama-Tennessee state line). I am fascinated with cemeteries and especially enjoy finding and photographing the graves of friends/loved ones who have passed on. I work in Huntsville, Alabama. Willing to go to local cemeteries and take photos, etc. at no cost for those who live too far away; just let me know. Hope to hear from some of you folks. Find-A-Grave is excellent!

RE: Scotts Hill Cemetery
Go east on US Highway 64 from Lawrenceburg toward Pulaski. A little over half way to Pulaski you will turn right on Johnson Branch Road. You will be going south. Stay on Johnson Branch Road for several miles. it will wind around quite a bit. You will pass Lee Chapman Road which enters Johnson Branch from the right. The next road on the left ( Name Unknown ) take a left it is a short distance about a couple of miles as I can recall. Scott Hill Church will be on the left and the Cemetery is just below it. My great grandmother is buried there and she died in 1889.
Good Luck.

RE: Smith Cemetery (Lincoln County)
The W.G. Harwell grave is in the Smith Cemetery located south of McBurg, TN. McBurg is a community on the Old US 64 Highway which is now bypassed by the newer US 64. I believe it is on land owned by the Stevenson family. Mr. Junior Stevenson who helped me locate it, passed away in 2014. His son, Terry, who lives in McBurg took us up on a four wheeler. Terry’s phone used to be 931-732-4266. The cemetery is a walkable but a pretty good hike back to the hillside where it is located. The map on Find A Grave is accurate.
The Find A Grave site for the cemetery is:

Hi Yancy,
Which Smith Cemetery are you thinking of? I know of 2 off top of my head, one near Red Oak and other near McBurg. A name of burial would clear things up.

Mark
Hi Yancy. It's Mark's cousin. I hope all is well with you. Mark's music stopped 6 years ago now. I hear from people who find the memorial you set up for him now and then. I just wanted to thank you again for giving me a place to grieve. I have been doing better since I found this site. You don't need to answer back. I just wanted to make contact. Thanks again. Shirley
