Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching my family history for many years and am fascinated with cemeteries. I love the old headstones. They were so unique.

I started adding information to F.A.G. from obituaries my aunt had kept on people she knew. It progressed into trying to complete as many cemeteries in the area as I could.

If I have created a memorial for one of your family members; please let me know and I will transfer it to you. Although F.A.G. has set rules about transferring memorials, I don't adhere to those, usually. If one of my memorials is a part of your family tree, in the direct family blood line, I will transfer it. Family belongs with family.

Also, I don't mind my headstone pictures being used; but, I would appreciate being asked first and to be given credit for taking the picture. It is only common courtesy. I spend a lot of time and gas in documenting the rural cemeteries in this area and don't appreciate those who think I am petty because I expect to be given credit for the work I do.

Also, with the new "Edit" function, I can't guarantee the accuracy of some of the information on my memorials anymore. It has it's good and bad points.

If you are asking where the others are buried,I would say that about 90% are buried in in the same graveyard. The last time I had connection with that side of the family was July of 2005 during the Gourd Dance doings in Carnegie. Unfortunately Both Victoria and her Father have passed away and are there at Elk Creek as well. would like help you with what I know...which isn't much.

I am currently a student at Arizona State so I really don't have time right now. Plus I know More about Jack than I do Great-Great grandmother White Tipi. Perhaps in a couple of years that will be an option if no one else steps forward before that.

Ah-ho,
James

Re. Mrs. Jack Doyeto
The place of birth was correct. She was my Great Grandmothers stepmother. My grandfather said that she was about 10 years younger than Jack. Her sons are my great grandmothers younger brothers.

Thanks for putting this page up,

James

Morris Family
Hi....i am researching my Morris family and have come upon a large brick wall. My earliest ancestor that I can find is Richard Charles Morris (Find A Grave Memorial# 26738999). Records say he was from South Carolina. i have traced all his descendants, but can't locate his parents or siblings. One of my uncles did a YDNA test and we have matched so John Wesley Morris (1866-1944) (Find A Grave Memorial# 21842813) who I believe is related to you. Wondering if you had any information on the children of his grandparents Achilles and Leah (Jarrett) Morris. Thank you Cathy

May I use your headstone photos in my family tree? I always give credit to the person who made the photo. I believe that is only right. I appreciate all the hard work and effort that you and other people put forth to record these graves.

I didn't mean for you to delete your posting. I was just commenting that I thought it was nice that someone went to the trouble to state on the tombstone that he was not buried with that wife.

My brother has his name on a tombstone with his fisrt wife in CA. However, he married again (and is a widow again....) and will be be buried with her in MS in a few years.

Again, thank you for all that you do for Find A Grave.

First, thank you for all that you are doing for Find A Grave. It is a great aid.

There is a note on the tombstone of his first wife Florece Bothwell in Caldwell KS that gives his birth and death years and states that he is buried in Hobart OK. Thus, he has two memorials. The memorial numbers are 60605880 & 152607437. I only stumbled on this while looking at his 2nd wife Ida Edna Lockett who is buried in Williams, AZ.

I'm still learning how this website works. If you don't mind holding onto them for a bit longer, I would truly appreciate it. Thank you!!!
