|In researching my family tree, I have been fortunate to find many ancestors on Find A Grave.com. |
From my own grandparent's stone I have seen many, many times, all the way to my wife dad's baby brother that was born in 1904, and died in 1906 at 2 years old, and is buried in another state. My wife is one of ten children, and none of the family that I have talked to have ever seen that stone!
Thanks to all the great contributors for all your hard work, and allowing others the benefit of seeing a grave stone of burial site that might have otherwise been impossible.
God Bless each of you! AlnJoy, The Stokes Folks

|Ronald G Brookshire||Henry Brookshire|
Any info you could give me, I would love. The heading states his name as Henry Farley Brookshire. According to Glenna Becks "The Brookshire Family" William F Brookshire and Mary Ann Marlowe had 13 children, with the 3rd being this Henry who was born in 1784. Their 9th child was Farley, who was born in 1795.
If you have some records that would clear this up I would appreciate it.

First thank you for all your hard work. Without people like you, lazy people like me wouldn't have access to such great information. :-) Seriously, thank you. I hope to be able to do the same thing myself someday, when I work less.
Henry Brookshire is a direct descendent of mine through Cynthia (dau) and wife Delphia. I can easily trace by to Cynthia - but once I get to her parents - all the sources go very dry. All I see are other people's family trees that have no sources. Would you be offended if I asked for a source. This would totally make my day. And who knows, maybe I can return the favor someday!

Hi again Allan,
My grandmother's name should be spelled Gertrude not Gertruide and her last name should be spelled as Hille and not Hillie. Thanks!

Thanks for recording my grandfather's grave in Find-A-Grave!. His name was Edward Louis Hille (not Edaward) and his date of death was Feb 6, 1965. His wife was Gertrude Mae Crow Hille and if you would take a picture of these two graves and post it to Find-a-grave, I would be grateful.
The next time you go to this cemetery, would it be possible to take a picture of Edward and Gertrude's grave? I can't remember if it's a double stone or if they each have single stones.
As you know, Gertrude was the sister of your grandmother, Lucille Crow Stokes.

Hello Mr Stokes sorry to just now deleting my memorial I had been busy the last week I did link Carlos to Ruby mae in the Berea cemetery and also having Azlite to add Bonita (Bonnie) as a daughter since I deleted mine and she isn't connected now.
Anytime you see anymore errors then please let me know im all for making the memorials as easy as possible for future families looking up their kinfolks.
I have the death certificate for Carl Thomas Rickard and it says he was buried at Hicklin Cem in Anton, Ky.
He was 19. He was married to Mary Florence Oldham.
His father, Robert Elvis Rickard, is buried at Free Union in Sacramento and his mother is buried here in Evansville Indiana.
Carl was shot and killed by his brother-in-law, Tom West.
He probably does not have a marker.
Thank you so much for looking at Hicklin
Thank you so much for the pictures of Lutetia and Richard Brown's headstones. I really appreciate it.
