I enjoy walking through different cemetery's & photographing headstones. when traveling if we're in an area for a few days we look for local cemeteries and take photos of different headstones relatives or not. its became a wonderful hobby, and we truely enjoy it,

My mother recently passed away and I was trying to connect her to her other family members on here. One of them, Etta Mae Lee #73823042, I discovered, was not connected to anyone, including her parents, Chester Shoemaker # 28016794 and Marie Shoemaker # 35801632. Is it possible for you to connect my Aunt to her family? I would appreciate it.

I have transferred to you. I hope I have connected her to the right family. If not, then please correct it. I am so sorry about her passing. You take care.

Aunts are not considered as being in the family tree, according to Find A Grave. I know, because I tried to get them to transfer my Aunt and Uncle to me. They would not. I will be happy to transfer the one I made to you, but I can't delete it. Thanks

We are lucky that someone took the time to take care of the graves of Ance Wagers and his wife Sally. It looked like their graves were originally marked with just a rock, with no apparent carving. Someone later painted the rocks white and wrote their names on them in black. They also had sticks in the ground next to their graves with their names on them. More recently, someone bought them proper headstones. I am thankful for whoever did these things. There are several graves in that cemetery with simple stones and no names.

Forgot to tell you previously, I photographed all the stones at Lipps Cemetery a few months back, so those with photos are definitely buried there. There's still quite a few listed in the cemetery that I couldn't find a stone for, so I'm not sure if they are actually buried there or not.

I have been planning to document and photograph Lipps Cemetery for a while but just haven't gotten around to it yet. I only add memorials from obituaries, tombstone photographs, or personal knowledge. Unfortunately, there are errors on find a grave, but we're all guilty of it sometimes.
Della's youngest daughter just passed away a couple of days ago. Her funeral is today, actually. Her memorial # is 140978038. There is now 4 living children of John L. and Della.
I will try to get the burials in Lipps Cemetery verified whenever I get a chance to go over there and take pictures. Thanks for the information. Hope you are having a great new year!
