Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing genealogy since 1983 and full time since 2004. I do enjoy taking trips for genealogy and walking around cemeteries looking for family even as far away as Auckland, New Zealand. So much can be learned just from grave photos.

Find A Grave has really been helpful in locating some of the graves. You may copy photos and genealogy information for your family research ...all I ask is that you remember where you got them in case someone needs a source.

RE: stanley family
Are you aware of how large Woodlawn is? You could walk for days and not survey all the gravestones, let alone check for unmarked graves or marked graves where all the names have not been recorded on the stone. We have well over 300,000 interments.

RE: william j stanley
You requested William Stanley (child). Woodlawn's records list him as William J. Stanley. I have a photo of his parents' (William & Mary)gravestone if you want it. If you do, post a request for it; your note seemed to indicate you were interested in them.

RE: Peter Sharp and parents
Sorry, no I am not related to the Sharp family. According to the 1900 census, they came about 1842. I find those dates unreliable, but a good place to start.

Margaret Moortell
Hi Janelle, I claimed a photo for her at Roselawn Cemetery. You asked if her husband Bruce or other family members are nearby, Margaret in the only Moortell in the cemetery. P.S. I will be heading out there tomorrow 11-13. Bob L.

Walkers Sulphur Springs
Janelle, I was photographing in SS, the Hyders, and posted a couple Walker/McCollum photos today. They seem clearer, but if you would prefer, I will delete them. Val

RE: Jane Miller
I have the copy you probably are looking at and it looks a little like "were Married Feb 15" until you enlarge it, then it is 13.

I have others that clearly state " Date of Marriage 13 February 1795 " for both marriage and certificate

RE: william tyler bacon
William Tyler Bacon was my husband's great grandfather. The picture came from Find-a-grave and is in the Old Corinth Cemetery in Howard Co, AR. According to my records (taken with a grain of salt always), William Tyler's mother was Elizabeth Pritchett, born 22 Dec 1790 in Washington Co, TN, and died abt 1851 in Brewer, Pike Co, AR.

His sister Emily was born 15 Jun 1817 in Washington Co, TN and died aft 1850 in Ultima, McCurtain Co, OK. She had married Jasper Sanders. I do not have anything about her children.

William Tyler's father was Jesse Bacon, born Mar 1790 in Berks Co, PA and died 3 Oct 1819 in Washington Co, TN.
