RE: Linda Fluke
Thanks for your email. Mine is : My husband and I are both paramedics.

Didn't know about the 19th. Will try to keep in touch. Cathy

You know the saying about I always couldn't wait to grow up, but this isn't the shit I was expecting?

Family is growing smaller. I am now the head of my family, and it was never big to start with. Four generations was only 12 people, now we are down to 10 for 3 generations. Sometimes being an only child sucks. Hope your day is great.

Linda Fluke
Linda Fluke, daughter of Lawrence and Gloria Burkett died this week. Her grandfather was Norman Burkett. I am Cathy, Nick was my grandfather.

Apparently she runs Linda's Little General Store in Hopewell, PA, and confronted a shoplifter stealing candy. An adult female. The thief started to argue with Linda. Linda was on the phone with the state police, when she had a massive heart attack. CPR was started, and the ambulance crew got her back, and was flown to Altoona Hospital for a heart cath. But she died in Altoona later that night. That is about all I know. I really did not know she was Gloria's daughter till I read her obit. And she looks like Gloria, once I knew it.

Hope all is well with you. I am slowly getting better since Mom and Daddy have died. Will be moving into the house in Hyndman soon, when I retire. Love to all, Cathy You can go to Akers Funeral Home, Everett, PA and view the obit.

Thank you again for posting it. I thought we were related. I knew Norman and Paul. Sorry for your loss of your Dad. I am not even near over the both of them passing. Too much at one time I guess. Thanks again for what you do for the site also. Cathy Feel free to contact me again if you need to about family or whatever.

Are you a relative of ours. Noticed spelling is the same. I knew we did have a relative by the name of Gary Burkett. Thanks for putting Daddy's obit and photos on the webpage. He was everything to me.

RE: Dysert Transfers
You're welcome! I only added those memorials because I was up there to take a photo of another Dysert headstone and they were nearby. I don't have any ties to the family, so was really glad to send them to someone who does. Glad that your wife is getting the's contagious!

Gary: Thank You for linking John N Litz to his parents. While there are a few holes for the find a grave listing, I hope that we can get those filled in over the next few months.

I have added a few more Find A Grave postings to Your branch of the tree on Find A Grave and if You would like I can transfer them to You. Just let me know.
