Unknown we are to each other...through time our paths have crossed...so as we visit one to another...know as family you shall never be lost.
I consider Cemeteries to be outdoor museums.
I am proud to be referred to as "The Family Historian."
THE CEMETERY PHOTOGRAPHER
Wandering among the stones I see
The stones so weathered and worn
‘Tis difficult to find the date
On which the babe was born
I stare at the stone and am struck with awe
At the life that I knew was gone
This was someone's child, a babe so sweet
With loved ones to carry on
So I take a photo for all to see
For the family that remains
An everlasting memory of
A child of God's domain
I brush the weeds back from the stone
And say a silent prayer
For the babes that had no chance to live
And for mothers everywhere
The dove calls out it's mourning song
Among the stones so still
Echoes of the woes, through time
The choirs of despair
The stone will someday perish
The flowers will be gone
But a photo now remains of this
Their memory lives on!
And so my friend, don't hesitate
To film the weathered stone
Those who live within your hearts
Are never truly gone.
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7

Received your note and attempted to reply but your comcast account doesn't work.
"Note: Field survey. Not here at Rockville Cemetery. Ashes probably with 2nd wife Hedwig Lillis."
I didn't list a cemetery and I am unclear what needs to be changed. Please get back to me and I will be happy to make changes.
|Ken Buttry||McFarland family|
You have Leven McFarland being born after his mother's death (1770 vs 1765). Do you have any documentation of either of these? You also have three brothers born in 1765, Charles being one. Again, can you document this. Census records indicate a Charles McFarland born between 1766 and 1784 (1810), 1776 and 1794 (1820), 1781 and 1790 (1830) and 1781 and 1790 (1840). Charles was my wife's 3rd gr-grandfather and died in 1847. You can find his will on my family tree on ancestry.com. Any info will be greatly appreciated. Ken Buttry

Zella was my 1st cousin (2x removed). I've turned over the memorial to you as the closer relative. You may have noticed I also found the locations of other siblings of hers that you've been looking for and connected them to Elmore and Harriett. I'm still working to find Myrtle's grave.

Thanks. After I emailed you, I did find The Adams Family Association webpage which gives the same info you just sent. I think the Kansas and Indiana locations are very close to one another.

Thank you for your reply. I either "mis-typed" or spell check popped in. The last name of her father is Drennan with a 'D'.

Thanks for the spousal correction.
James Henry Gordon died in 1907.
|Lise ||Baby Kirner|
Thank you very much for recording the final resting place of this baby. I always wondered what happened to him.

|Christie Trapp||RE: Hello|
Yeah -- what's up with you? Been traveling alot and working on scrapbooks in between trying to play catch up with old emails from back in 2011! Trying to clear out my inbox. Slow process, but because of that, am working on some of my older memorials.
What have you been doing of late?

Thanks so much for confirming that there is no marker for this baby. I appreciate your efforts.
