RE: Lovie Barker
Lovie Jones Kemp either was married to Duck Barker or one of his brothers at some point. I have not figured that out. Cannot find a marriage record.

RE: Lovie Barker
Oh, and also, Lovie married my great grandfather's brother. So their children were double first cousins to my grandfather.

That photo of Lovie and her daughters has been in the family for as long as I can remember. My grandmother had it. Lovie was my great grandmother's sister. Her maiden was Jones.

I apologize; I thought I had included it. It is the Military Headstone Application; here is the link and here is the page info:

I went back to the cemetery today and got a close up of Susannah's grave, however the inscription is still pretty hard to read. I also added pictures for the other Stermer's.

RE: Joseph Stermer
I added the photo to Susannah's memorial, no I didn't get a closer photo of the inscription on hers, but I can go back sometime next week, the cemetery is nearby where I live. I could also get pictures of any children of theirs when I go back.

This is the phone number to the church office, (717)235-2053, I'd call them and see if they could help with the burial records and fixing the stone.

Also, does the picture appear sideways to you? The pictures I have taken recently are upright in my phone and on my computer, but when in add them to Find a Grave they seem to turn sideways.

RE: Thomas Sellers
Hi, In response to your question about my connection to Memorial # 157842062 (Thomas Sellers), I am really unsure how I connect to him.

The person who originally created the memorial was John Blakemore Sellers who had done a great deal of research on my Sellers family.

In return he created many memorials, and then he transferred the ones he had created that were part of my family, to me.

Because I've been so busy, I have not had a chance to go through them.

If you write to John Blakemore Sellers, he may be able to shed some additional light on this particular memorial.

In the meantime, has your husband had a DNA test? I would love to compare chromosomes at Gedmatch.

RE: Howell Thomas Sellers
Hi Vicky,
i have no connection to Howell, other than working on his and other Sellers family lines. Jennifer Eckman, I believe can better help you, as she knows about the Sellers out of South Carolina.
