I'm a genealogist and historian with a special interest in the families of Williamsburg (including Haydenville), Massachusetts and their ancestors. I live in Williamsburg. By 2004 I had copied the genealogical data from every extant gravestone here, and I keep it on file for ready reference. By mid-2015 I had made sure every person known to be buried here up to then has a FAG memorial and every gravestone has a photo. I have photocopies of all Williamsburg's vital records from 1760-1943 and many other local primary source documents. I'll correspond enthusiastically with anyone researching Williamsburg and Haydenville residents.

I've also done 23 years of research into my own ancestors, many of whom settled in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Amsterdam, Long Island, New Jersey (where I grew up), Maryland and Virginia in the 1600s. They had no connection with Williamsburg. My Weber line came from Germany to upstate NY in the 1850s. I've created a virtual cemetery containing all my direct ancestors for whom FAG memorials exist. I know of hundreds of other direct ancestors whose burial locations have not been discovered, and who therefore have no FAG memorials.

I'm happy to respond to gravestone photo requests in western Hampshire and Franklin Counties and occasionally in eastern Berkshire County. I try to make my gravestone photos more detailed and legible than most. Please ask before appropriating them for your own use. When asked, I'll usually say yes.

I will usually be glad to transfer memorials that I've created for people unrelated or very distantly related to me. Ask!

Lucy M. Fowler

Please email me at You state that you have all the records from Williamsburg, Ma. I know Lucy live in Williamsburg from about 1930 until around 1951 +/-, except when she went to live with her mother in Roslindale, Ma. for about a year or so, 1949 to sometime in the spring or early summer of 1950. Again, I know that she was living in Williamsburg in October/November of 1950 and POSSIBLY stayed maybe until 1951 or later when she moved to Rhode Island to live with her brother around Providence.

Eager to hear from you via email where Ill explain other info and reasons for my inquiries.

George Karl Rustemeyer #145890356
I do believe that your has his FATHER's date of death listed as George's. George Karl died on 9 May 1978 from "asphyxiation by suspension" according to Death Certificate. He was 61y 8m and 26d of age at that time, again according to Death Certificate.

Champion Brown White
I agree Eric, this monument is for Champion Brown WHITE, and have changed it accordingly and linked to parents John Newton & Mary Wells White. I added John Henry White also, and linked him. Thanks for the great work you do! Jim

Lucius Allis
thank you for bringing to my attn the cenotaph in Alabama. I have created a link in his memorial to the one in Alabama. Do you think having a picture of the the Conway gravestone posted on the Alabama memorial will be confusing for the folks in Alabama? I wonder if someone wandering the Alabama cemetery looking for Lucius might be looking for the obelisk? Your call absolutely, I love the work you do on Find A Grave, especially the pics you have taken in the Franklin County area - it is a huge gift that will last generations.
thanks again
