|jan davenport||photo request for Elizabeth Hamilton|
This Hamilton cemetery is located in the Glenview Community, Green County , Ky. The last time I was in the area, you could not see the grave stones. A large tree has fallen over the fenced cemetery. Elizabeth Jane "Betty" Montgomery was born September 5, 1835 in Green County, KY. Her parents are David and Tabitha B. (Holland) Montgomery. She married Levy Alvin Hamilton on February 24, 1853. Per the 1900 census they had 13 children-10 living in 1900. I have names of 12 of them. Levy's parents are Leonard and Martha (Chadoin) Hamilton.

James, I have been trying to piece together the family of Luticia SUTTON Reynolds (1806-1894), Memorial# 15583661 and have come across some interesting finds, if you'd like to exchange research notes. Dan Carrier, for Felicia MILLER James (who we think is descendant from a sister, Nancy Ann SUTTON Vandergriff, of Luticia). email@example.com, living in Dallas, TX

Can you tell me the source for the name of his mother? Working on a DAR application, there are three Bazzel/Basil Prater's. Need to sort them out. Thank you

|Dos Perros||Hannah Hurley (died 1862)|
Do you have any documentation to support the dates you have listed for Hannah Hurley (born 1786/died 1862)? Is there a tombstone for her?
I think she is actually Hannah, who married Nehemiah Hurley, and that she was born circa 1764; not their daughter, Hannah, who married John Richardson (because she would be memorialized as Hannah Richardson). That Hannah was born circa 1788. John and Hannah were my 3rd great-grandparents.

If you look on find a grave for the picture...there is a name listed for the contributor of the picture. You may be able to verify picture through them. Please let me know if it is incorrect.
As far as what the initials stand for...I would have to do some checking. He was married to my great aunt...Sarah O Baldwin. Their niece...my grandmother was married in Moweaqua at their place. I know I have seen the name listed and would not have just made it up.
I too lived in Moweaqua when I was doing the bulk of my research.

Would you be willing to transfer this memorial to my find-a-grave account? He served in the 15th Mass, my area of special interest and research. Thanks for all your work.

Hi James. I rec'd your edit to add locations to Gladys' memorial. I noticed you had added a scanned image of her obit. Scanned images of articles are against the rules of Findagrave (see the FAQs regarding what kind of photos can be added) so I would ask that you remove it. But make sure to type it up and send to me so that I can put it in her bio where it belongs. Thanks so much.

|Lauren McKeon Jenkins||Rogers - Potter -- Fish -- Green?|
I am a newbie to genealogy and thrilled to find info on my ancestors here. I'm stuck at a point on my family tree where I have conflicting information and missing information with little to go on from later generations. My G-G-grandmother, Hope Clarinda Fish, born in Rhode Island in 1876 according to a family bible that has "Anna Green" on the cover. The bible lists only two things, Hope Clarinda's birth in 1876 and the marriage of Benoni Fish and Anna Green in 1876. Inside the bible was an old hand-typed genealogy of the Potter family that ends with Benoni Fish's generation (his grandmother was Delana Potter Rogers). It also has handwritten checks marks next to his name and his lineage with the notes "your direct lineage." However, I can find NOTHING about an Anna Green online (a few trees showing a Susan Green) and it appears that Benoni married a Julia Elizabeth Potter a few years later and many records show her as Hope Clarinda's mother. So perhaps Anna/Susan died and he remarried but this is one main area where I am stuck. I hesitate to dig any higher in the tree until I solve this mystery and know for sure who my ancestor is. I'd appreciate ANY information or suggestions -- thanks!
Lauren (McKeon) Jenkins
