I have my wonderful husband and an awesome son who is 11. Together my son and I like to do scrapbooking and take pictures. I am working on writing children's books but have not gotten a chance to get them published. I have added another two pages to my book and now looking for an illustrator. My son has also joined me in writing a book.
I also like to collect recipes and try them out on my 2 guys.
I love music and reading about my favorite musicians. I even reintroduced my son to Jan and Dean.
I found this site when I was looking for info on my grandfather.
I am enjoying looking through this site and hopefully find more loved ones.
I want to thank everyone for making me feel welcome.
I found some of my favorite Native American sayings that I would like to share with you and hope that ya'll enjoy them and find them comforting as I do.
There is no death,
only a change of worlds.
Don't be afaid to cry
it will free your mind of sorrowful thoughts
If the eyes had no tears
the soul would have no rainbows
They are not dead
who live in the hearts
they leave behind.
When you were born
you cried and the world rejoiced.
Live your life so that when you die,
the world cries and you rejoice.
I have found some more family members.

So nice hearing from you Laura & thanks for your sweet words. I had to re-read the poem I left and it sure is beautiful & meaningful, to say the least. I also have to apologize, as I am afraid that I may owe you a note or two. I'm not online as much as I used to be and at that time, I never was able to do 'catch-up', as I call it.
So glad to know that all is well with you & yours and I guess you are busier than ever, but glad that you do get a little time now & then to do a little flowering.
Best regards my friend & will be back at a later date. I am going to flower a few of your loved ones while I have the chance. Bye for now. 'Hugs'
|purple-lady||RE: Hi (:|
Hello Laura, it has been a long long time. I finally had a day for myself that I was able to do a little fowering, after 5 months. You know the old adage [everything happens in 3's] - I guess it changed for me that [everything happens in 4's]. I kept saying "this too shall pass" and it did.
Been going to Eye Doctor most all of April & oh, how tiresome.
Take care Laura & hoping this message finds you doing fantastic. Glad youse have been enjoying nicer weather and I was wondering if you were still working or looking for work, after all this time. Hopefully all has worked out to your advantage.
I Probably won't be flowering much, maybe once a week, if lucky.
Thanks so much for your October messages, as it's always nice hearing from you.
Bye for now, Ruth
