Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching my genealogy for many years and now have over 26,000 people in my database and in a private genealogy website.

I am a former Navy Nurse, civilian nurse, nurse educator, airline pilot and diving instructor. I'm the Director of Health & Safety at the Virginia Renaissance Faire, where I have been volunteering for 9 years. The "White Knights" are responsible for first aid (& other things) for the cast, crew, vendors, and patrons; over 3,000 people a day. I also enjoy walking cemeteries and taking photos for you.

I have found thousands of relatives and ancestors who were murdered in the Holocaust. I am entering them, one by one, and so far have created over 2,500 of their memorials, more than 1550 in Auschwitz alone. They are separated in my virtual cemeteries by camps, and I also created a virtual cemetery for the children, which has over 400 children listed so far. I would be honored if you would stop by to visit them when you are able. I ask only that you refrain from leaving Christian tokens or wording. Thank you so much.

Feel free to add photos to my memorials any time, as long as you have taken them yourself and have not copied them from obituaries. Thanks!

I am happy to make additions, corrections and family links, and am always grateful for additional information you can send. Please send them using the EDIT feature on the memorial page. I will act on all additions, etc. within 24 hours when possible.

I would so appreciate if you would stop by my beloved dad's and mom's memorials and leave a token so I know you've been there. My mom has only been in heaven a short time. Thank you so much to those who have already visited them. I have also made virtual cemeteries for my 5 wonderful fur babies and 2 special cousins. They would love to see you too. I miss them all so much. Thank you.

I would like to thank every one of you for visiting my family members & friends. It truly means so very much to me to see all your tokens and notes. You are a very special group of people and I am so grateful to have met you.

Your tombstone stands among the rest,
neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out
on polished marble stone.
It reaches out to all who care;
it is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist;
you died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
in flesh, in blood and bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
one hundred years ago
spreads out among the ones you left
who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew,
that someday I would find this spot
and come to visit you.

Hi, I grew up near Hubbard Heights Golf Course in Stamford, on Connecticut Ave. I still have relatives in Stamford.

Thank you so much for your effort and contribution. He was a good friend of my sister who manages his memorial. She is most appreciative.

sweet, brilliant moms
I am an accidental visitor, ...I read your page for your mom, and wept, as it sounded exactly like me writing about my mom, who left me last September. My mom was an Irish version of your mom, with a bit of Hungarian Jewish that we belatedly found. Such women - "Selfless" says it all. How did they do it? - My mom had 6 kids, the last one deaf, and still somehow found the time to truly love a huge rolodex of friends, and was still making new friends up through age 90. Still dyed her hair red ! You were blessed with many extra years with your mom. My mom too died of pancreatic cancer, but at 90.5 years young, after surviving breast cancer 15 years earlier with no troubles. She was an active athlete, not a hint of dementia. She was so disappointed to get cancer a 2nd time, she didn't want to go, and I didn't want her to go. It seems our lives should be at least to 120, because it can still be fun in the 90s. I just had to tell you, I understand exactly how you feel, how you want your mom again, to live another lifetime with her. Some people on this earth really are angels - you and I know that. I cannot ever replace my mom, nor can you replace yours. I want to go vegan, to help myself and the world fight this terrible thief, cancer. Mom was a country girl, loved her salads and fruit, she would say "Go for it." Her name was simply "Jo", and somehow people always felt good around her, you could see their smiles. By what you wrote, your mom feels the same way to me, and her smile so sweet and sincere. I feel like I know her now. Warmest regards ~ Maureen

RE: Louis Monasch

this is a copy of his death certificate. This is where I read cremation at Ocean View in Burnaby. If you call Ocean View, they might tell you if/where he is on their grounds.

I wasn't sure what you meant at first but I see that his mother died in a fire.
