Bio and Links
Bio Photo DOES ANYONE KNOW THE NAME OF THIS UNION OFFICER? He appears to be a 2LT. What is HIS NAME AND UNIT? On the reverse side of the photo it says Partridge's Gallery, Wheeling West Virginia.

Findagrave was founded in 1998. When I first joined this site back in july 1999, we had to mail our photos to Utah and they would upload the records. This meant I did not get credit for many records. Anytime you see my photos dated before 2002, that meant I found the records but only credited with the photo. I have numerous trees on ancestry that I have done for friends. Ancestry com is where family trees are put together. Findagrave is a separate entity---This is one of my contributions I leave to future posterity.

Tips on researching your family tree.
Records from the 1800s:
Example 1. Mary T. Lincoln, the 'T'
usually represents her maiden name, not her middle initial.
Example 2. Robert Todd Lincoln. The first born son's middle name is usually his mothers maiden name.In this example, Todd is his mothers maiden name.

My goal is to do Quality Work, Not Quantity Work.Copyright information: You may use my photos. Most people do not give credit to the people who actually take the photos.People listed as FAMOUS on this site are "maintained by findagrave", which means only they can edit/add information. Any records I have that are Famous, I can't change a thing for you, sorry.

Mary Ann Gibson
Hi Tom. I am not surprised you declined my link for Mary Ann Gibson (145168916) to her parents.

The MO. death record lists her father incorrectly. She was only six when her father died. Also note an incorrect birth year for Mary in her death record. Her mother, Jane Ford died in 1926, outliving her one child, Sarah Jane Ford Ledford, who was also born in Illinois. Sarah's obit from 1923 lists all of her siblings, including Mary Gibson of Kansas City, MO. Also William H., John J., Charles and James Ford and another sister, Bell (AKA Lizzie) McDougal. The 1880 census for Fremont, Clarke, Iowa lists Mary A. Ford born about 1868 in Illinois. Mary also shows up in the 1870 census for Akron, Peoria, Illinois born about 1867 in Illinois with her parents William and Jane Ford. Also her 1886 Iowa Marriage record to Clarke Gibson, lists her parents as William Ford and Jane Greenhard.

I hope all of the is good enough for you to accept my link request to her parents.

Let me know.

Regards. Mike Rewey

Hi Tom; THANK YOU for your continued support and work!
Special Officer usually means that officer has a designated area they cover and usually only work within the boundaries of their assignment.

Hamm Photo
Thank you for taking the time to post the picture of Mr. Hamm's gravestone. I really appreciate it. Looks like someone else already created a memorial for his wife.

Hi, Tom;
Thank you so much for all the leads on these wonderful Heroes! I have added them to my Police/non KCMO.
I could not find Henry Hughes either!
Will keep checking for him though.
You are doing wonderful work!
Much appreciated,
