|I have been interested in genealogy sence I was about 10 or 11 years old.When my grandmother Mary Margaret Rollins Clark sent my mother a family tree book on my grandmother Mary's side of the family.My grandmother had written down complete pedigree with birth dates,marriage and some death dates and some history.This was then sent to her 1st cousin Walter Lowery Love in Wichita,Ks.Who own the Love Box Co.there.Walter Love put all of her infomation together with that of his, which has some very interesting old family stoies and history.Even at the tender age of 11, I was so impressed with the stories and the history I just had to find out more.But as I got older I had to set my family tree aside except for the times that my family and I would get together and they would tell me of there lives and stories of year gone by.My Sisters and a sister-in-law all ventured into our family genealogy.Then a few years ago I started with the information that they gave me along with the Love Family Tree information and deside to add to all of it.With the help of he internet family and other resources for documents and a sister and her husband that loves travel and take lots of pictures at family cemeteries.I/we have lots of information.But there is always one more yet to find.|

Thanks. I want to have him in the right cem too.

Curiouser and curiouser! I emailed the person who took the pictures and he said that they are both in Graceland, Section 16. Neither of them is on the Saratoga list on the Hamilton County genweb http://www.iagenweb.org/hamilton/SaratogaCemetery.html. Maybe you should email "Michael" directly.
We do have a Joseph Adams on the Graceland list and he is on Find A Grave also.

No, I am not related to him. We just research Civil War veterans buried in Iowa and he was on a list for Hamilton County. Feel free to add my info to his bio. Just let me know when you've done that and I will remove the "flower". Linda

I love the "Oh Curly" memory. :) I'm not sure about the family trunk. I'll ask members of the Roup family about it. My grandmother, Lois (Roup) Wilson, Belle's niece. My grandma was the daughter of William Lester Roup. I have been going through old photos of my grandmother's and did find one of Belle at her 100th's birthday party. I'll upload it to her memorial for you. I'll put what is written on the back of the picture in the caption for you. I'll let you know anything I learn about her, and if anyone knows about this trunk. Does it have just Roup family memories....or Adams memories in it too? - Lance

Nevermind that last message about "Lund" for Rosa Belle's mother's maiden name. Her brother William married a Mary, so I always get those two confused. :) Lance

One other tidbit...in her biography you have her mother's maiden name as Potter...it was actually Lund. :) Lance

Hello. Just wanted to give you a little info on "Grandma Belle" as you affectionately referred to her as. :) She was my great grandaunt. I don't know if you knew but Belle was her middle name. She was born Rosa Belle Roup. If you would like to link her to her parents, here they are:
83770082 William Roup
83770083 Mary Roup
I will try to get a current photo of her grave soon. Planning on a trip to DeWitt soon.

|Alice Morton||Hi Ruth|
You gave a beautiful memorial for the two Baby Girl
Adams. That was nice of you to give me some credit for finding them...they were always there just waiting for someone to bring them to the attention of their family..Hope to meet you when you are able to come over this way.
