Bio Photo "I didn't attend the funeral, but I sent a nice letter saying I approved of it." -Mark Twain

I completed photographing and uploading headstone information for Block 2 of Elmwood Cemetery in Kansas City, MO. I was able to record about half of Block 11 before moving out of the area.

I'm the self-appointed family genealogist. I'm researching Lohr/Lore, Larson, Hudson and Trowbridge.

May I use the grave marker photo that you contributed to the memorial page of Charles Clarke, to post on the Vermont Civil War site? (

John A Harter
Thank you for posting the memorial of John A Harter. He was my great grandfather & who I don't know much of. I do know his parents were John Adam Harter(1821-1871) & Elizabeth Tinkey Harter(1821-1860). His DOB Mar 29 1859 in Grand River, DeKalb County, Missouri & DOD Sep 12 1927 Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.
Thanks again I gave up hunting for him about a year ago.
