Bio Photo This monument in Northeast cemetery PA says "God Is Love." It is one of my favorites.

I am happy to do this work to help the living, the dead and those to come. Sometimes, though, the pain of the losses people have felt just staggers me.

I am very, very grateful to other volunteers who have put up info that has helped me in my ancestry searchs.

also:
If possible, I would grateful if you could leave a flower at my cousin Lt. Edwin Neely who was killed at Normandy as part of the D - Day invasion so that he is remembered.

It would be a lot to me. It took me awhile to find him.

(I found out some of the pictures I post turn out upside down on some people's computers but not others. I don't understand it at all so I don't know how to fix it but I think it might be something with the IPhone I don't understand.

Write me if something is wrong!)

I hope some day somebody in my family cares about geneology besides me. I also hope there will be family members far in the future who find what I have posted to learn about our family. They were not just names on a paper, they were people who breathed and loved and suffered just like you. I am pretty much all alone, please think of me too. Thank you.

it worked!
it will look like that!

Here are the directions.

In the biography, you would need to type

< a href="http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=XXXXXXX">Name< /a>

where XXXXXXX is the Grid number of the memorial you want to link. So replace XXXXXXX with 56648174 . Replace NAME with Lt. Edwin Neely

You will need to remove the space between < and a at the beginning as well as the space between the < and / at the end. The spaces were added here to actually show you the code.

Lt. Edwin Neely
Thanks for remembering my grandpa Lt Karl H Timmermann. I saw the post you left on his memorial page and your kind words are truly appreciated.

If you delete all of this from bio page and replace it with the link I have below, Lt. Edwin Neely's name will show up for the link to his bio.

RE: Thank yo so much
You're welcome! I go up to Sunnyside Cemetery pretty often, most of my local ancestors are up there - and the was a guy named Clickett who was a close friend of my brother's, so when I saw the Clickett marker I took a photo...

Henry Petrich grave
Hello,

Hello,

I watched a movie on Netflix entitled "The Man Who Saved Ben Hur" and was touched by the mention of Henry Petrich so I looked here to see if he appeared on findagrave.

The gentleman in the movie was a fellow soldier who considered Henry "Pet" Petrich his best friend in the military and who was there when "Pet" died.

Just in case you are unaware of the mention of him in this very nice documentary, I wanted to let someone who has him in their family tree know. I see that you have put up several records for Petrich - that's is why I am guessing that he is a relative. If not, the documentary is still quite nice.

Sincerely,
Bridget Carroll

William Johnson Lakeview Cemetery
There are 2 William Johnson's buried in Lakeview with the same age. There are people with one named Parsons. Do you have a middle name or other relative so I can get the correct photo. Ann

Thank you for honoring Alan Turing today. He doesn't get very many flowers.

Hello!

St. Francis Xavier Cemetery is one of the most confusing cemeteries there is, as it lies between two sections of the Sterrettania Cemetery and you canít tell which is which!

If you could call Karen Whitford, who deals with cemetery information for the church at 814-476-7657 or email her via the following link to find the section they are in, this would be very helpful to me in locating the stones youíre looking for. http://www.stfrancisxaviermckean.org/contacts.html

Thanks!
