I think there were 3 stones laying down photographed that I couldn't read that were not posted. they
were the older "marble" limestone type
When I got home I noticed I had a Tick and Haven't gone back yet. I think I will need a mower to get any more pictures.

|Joel Maynard||Levi Maynard and Ed Maynard|
Thank you for your work on this site. In case you're interested, I have some information regarding my ancestors who are buried at the Beloit Cemetery in Iowa. I was there last weekend and saw that the monument for Levi Maynard (1799 -1888), my 3X great-grandfather, has been repaired. It's now upright, and I have some pictures of it, although they might not be any more informative than the ones you've already posted. Also, regarding my great-grandfather, Ed Maynard, his name was actually Edward, not Edwin. My grandfather, Ralph Edward Maynard, (Ed's son), was named after his father,(Edward M. Simpson Maynard) who died in Elrod Township, Clark County, SD in 1919. Ralph Maynard moved to the Elrod area in about 1918, but he was buried across the river from Beloit, IA in Canton, SD in 1935. The farm in Elrod Township that was purchased by Edward S. Maynard in the early 20th century is still in the Maynard family. I hope this is of interest. Please let me know if you have questions. Thanks!

Are they any relation to the Dotys from around the southside of Chicago? I ask because there is a street named that in the south suburbs. Just curious. If you have other relatives in Silverbrook, there is a website, friends of silverbrook.org that is very helpful. Glad I could help a little bit.
You are very welcome.

I found Daniel and his father Jacob in Berkley County WV during the Revolutionary War. Jacob died there in 1778 listed as Woolam. The only service I could find for Daniel was paying a personal property supply tax. Still have not found any military service to go with the marker.
