I have always been interested in my family history and loved hearing about them since I was a little girl. I have been involved in geneaology for over 25 years. |
I have been appointed "family historian" and I am proud to have that title. Even as a child, I loved visiting my relatives graves. There is so much history in a cemetery.
If you find any errors or would like a photo or interment removed, please e-mail and I will be happy to do so. If you would like to take ownership of a memorial, please contact me and I will get it switched over. It is always better for the family to own the memorial.
I volunteer to help others fulfill their quest for their family history. This is done with the utmost love and respect. This is a great way to memorialize your loved ones and mine.
My family surnames are Homan, Stammen, Kreig, Rentz, Rhein, Replogle, Goodpaster, McEowen, Millette, Moore, Jones, Gossart, DeCamp, Ross, Watkins and Heater.
I can trace my lineage to the Revoluntionary War through Replogle x 2 , DeCamp, Ross and Gossart. I am a member of the D.A.R. first Chapter out of Chicago.
Many thanks to the creators of F.A.G. They are doing such a great job!

hello. as a hiestand descendant, its good to see relatives actually up on findagrave. However, I must mention that ezra b hiestand was not his child. There are 3 ezra's that we have in our lineage, and ezra hiestand of 1850 was the son of tobias hiestand. Ezra b. hiestand was the son of Samuel e hiestand, Tobias' brother. And ezra A. Hiestand was son of Jonas Hiestand. Thank you for your dedication and hard work.
Your memorial page for Roger P. Finch is very similar to the Roger C. Finch I am researching. My Roger C. was born 5/20/53 and died 4/3/66 in Bradford County, PA. I wonder if Roger P is related somehow but the dates are to similar and in different states? Do you know who Roger P's parents are?

Hi - I'm putting photos in for one of Nebraska's historical groups and I have several of Rebecca and her area. In the photos there are a lot of stones knocked down and/or broken - do you know what happened in this particular cemetery. I will put the photographs on her site if you'd like - just let me know.

I also descend from William Shelton and Narcissus Crutchfield Goodpaster. Do you descend from Asa? Where did you find the info about Asa and family? If this is the same Goodpaster line. Asa was 1 of 9 children that I know of. Look forward to hearing from you.

Hello and thank you so much for this information. These are my GGGrandparents. I was able to visit this cemetery briefly in Oct 2014 and found the headstone of their fourth daughter Martha, looked like it had been buried, dug up, and placed by a tree. I was not able to find the other stones for Joshua and wife Rebecca and their three young daughters. Did you get this information from records or did you actually see the stones? Many thanks as this family is especially close to my heart.
