Bio

I will happily transfer any memorials that are not my family's direct ancestors. Please ask. The majority of the Glen Haven Cemetery memorials are not related to me so happy to transfer them to those interested in updating and maintaining.

I love researching and sharing. I update as much information as I can on the bio, so please contact me about anything posted as a many of these I have personally researched. I add primary references when I find them. Please contact me to exchange more information or to correct anything I have.

You may use anything I post including photos and content. The photos I own I share with the world and all future generations.

My maternal ancestors for last 300 years are from Shenandoah area of Virginia and Pennsylvania prior.

My paternal ancestors are from Greece (Kymi, Euboia Island and Nisyros, Dodecanese Islands).

My publications include many books on veterans and families from the Maryland and Virginia area. I am a Financial/Business Analyst by profession, a non-denominational Protestant Reverend, Notary Public in Maryland, active genealogist and researcher, author of numerous publications and articles, and most proudly a father of 3 sons, grandfather of 5, uncle to countless nieces and nephews and cousins and a large extended family of very close friends.

My DNA and my family's DNA are posted on Ancestry, FamilyTreeDNA, MyHeritage and Gedmatch.

For decades, I was an active member and officer (such as President, Registrar, Genealogist, Archivist, and Secretary) in a number of hereditary society organizations such as the Sons of the American Revolution, War of 1812, Children of the American Revolution, Order of the First Families of Maryland, The Welcome Society of Pennsylvania, Order of the Crown of Charlemagne, Society of the Cincinnati, Sons and Daughters of Pilgrims, Huguenots, etc. so I am happy to help others trace their family history to join the groups. I have documented 31 Patriots of the American Revolution and 50 for my children. My sons holds the record for the most documented Patriots in the Maryland SAR (Second place is 36).

My direct email is [email protected].
