Bio

My father was President of the Tuolumne County Historical in 1957. My grandfather and father were both born in the family ranch house located on Tuttletown School Road. They were both very well known in Tuolumne County, California. One of my sisters, a niece and a nephew are currently active in preserving Tuolumne County history.

I am concentrating my research mainly on those buried in Columbia as a project to record the history made by those people.

I grew up on the family ranch near Tuttletown, graduated from Columbia Elementary and Sonora High and attended Columbia Junior College. After I moved to Sacramento County, I earned a degree in journalism.

I live in Sacramento County and make the trip to the Columbia cemetery each year in May.

I work full time for the California Department of Corrections.

In addition to my research, my activities include exercising, hiking in the mountains and hills, gardening and housework.
